Lately I'm a Day Late and a Dollar Short!

I'm having a hard time keeping up lately. Anyone else?

Home and jobs and errands and bill paying and family members and doctor's appointments and phone calls and paperwork and just wanting to be with people...and oh my goodness the holidays are coming!

Life is good though! Life is good.

I wanted to back up just a little bit to this post.  In this post, some of my Texas girlfriends all got together and shared what is going on here to celebrate the season. Just in case you are like me and can't keep up...here's a little peek at each post. You can pop on over to see any of them that pique your interest. Grab your coffee and enjoy. :)

I hope you are enjoying amazing fall days!

  1. Oh Stacey! I am with you---everything is a whirlwind lately and that is what I posted about, too. You are younger and when I was your age I thought that when I got to be THIS AGE I would have so much time on my hands that I might be bored. WRONGO! I think I am busier than ever! lol...and I love it that way. xo Diana

  4. Oh Stacey, I'm so behind. Fall has been kicking my butt...we are busy, we all got colds, I'm posting but barely reading and so far behind on comments. I love, love, love blogging, but way behind. Thanks for sharing all the pretty too...you are friends with some talented ladies!!

  5. Stacey,
I hear you... so far behind, but finally feeling a little better physically. And, it is so frustrating that most of the comments left on my blog cannot be replied to by email. Even people who I could always reply to in the past are now "no reply commenter" for some strange reason.

Have a grand time at KariAnne's workshop, The Inspire Workshop. You all are going to laugh and learn so much.

  6. I hear ya Stacey! Life is definitely good, but it has gotten busy for me as well. I haven't decided if it is because I have more to do, or if I am moving slower, lol. Have a great weekend! Jsne

  7. Life is good, and life is passing right by! This is that time of year I wistfully call Happy Thanksmas. It's Halloween (got the candy, check), it's nearing Thanksgiving (food pantry restock, checking), and it's Christmas planning (pricing items for antique booth overhauls next week, check). Oh, and trying to live in the present...FestivALL art fair today, and the garden is being put to bed, one day at a time. Check, and check. Have a great weekend, Stacey.

  10. Stacey I am right there with you. Time is flying by and I feel like there are not enough hours in the day. I thought at this point in life when we became empty nesters things would slow down. I have found it to be just the opposite. I will love seeing all the wonderful inspiration. Have a wonderful weekend.

  11. Hi Stacey, I think most of us feel the same way as you. I am so busy, trying to keep out household going and also packing up my mom’s house. She has been staying with us since her last stroke. She is doing pretty good. I also busy designing blogs, along with participating in two upcoming tabescapes blog hops. How sweet to get together with your girls. Sounds like fun. Happy Saturday.😋🍁

  13. So many wonderful blogs to visit! Thanks for sharing them all in one place. And I hope Hyacinths for the Soul sees my comment. I have always enjoyed visiting her and feel like she's been a special blog friend but now I can't comment on her blog any more. She is google + and only allows those comments. I will still enjoy reading her blog though. Happy weekend!

    1. Diane, would you please let me know if you see this comment in your emails? Not sure that my comment/reply system is working. I wanted to let you know that Google + is going away! Can you believe it? Thank goodness..it has been nothing but problems.

  15. Oh, so many beautiful pictures and sweet things to look at. I'll be busy for awhile! I totally understand what you are saying in this post. I have just seemed to be bombarded lately...my tongue is hanging out! I was busy enough and then Hurricane Michael decided to pay us a visit. It was a very scary night! Thankfully the good Lord spared us and we didn't lose any of the trees that I was so afraid would fall on our house. We did have LOTS of limbs, sticks, & pinecones to pick up, however, and we were without power a couple of days. We never appreciate electricity until we don't have it!!!! Then last week was fall break for my grandkids so they stayed with me a lot. And my Sunday Sch. teacher has been out of town for 3 weeks and I've been the substitute....and the list goes on. But as you said (which is a favorite quote of one of my best friends) LIFE IS GOOD:) Always love your posts!!!

    1. You have been busy, Cheri! You deserve a day to put your feet up. So glad the hurricane didn't cause you more problems than you had!

  16. I woke up this morning thinking I had way to much to do and not enough day to finish. I think after Saturday, you and I both will have A LOT to do in the next couple of weeks but it's a great to do list. I'll be praying for you.
