Cherry Delight in Sweet Little Jars for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Week friends! This is one of my favorite weeks of the year! Today I thought I'd share a special dessert that we are enjoying at home right now.

Everything is better in a jar! Cherry Delight served in individual jars shared at Poofing the Pillows.

I am convinced that everything tastes better and looks prettier when served in a jar. Do you agree? I just love how this Cherry Delight turned out in these little jars. This is a simple recipe made with items you most likely have in your pantry but it looks so much fancier in a jar.

I've had this recipe in my box for years! I don't know its origin but the original recipe actually calls for La Creme'. Do y'all remember that?

Since I made this Cherry Delight in jars, we have ten of them in the refrigerator right now. I can serve Cherry Delight every day!

If my hubby of 30 years is having a hard day at work, I'll pull out a little jar to make him forget his troubles.

If my son comes home from nursing school with something interesting to tell, we'll have a jar of Cherry Delight while he shares.

If my Cottage Journal comes in the mail, I'll sit and enjoy a little bit of Cherry Delight while reading.

So much for our diet!! :)

Here's another recipe I did in a jar a couple of years ago-

What is on your Valentine's Day dessert menu? I'd love to know.

  10. Cheers to dessert in jars!!! I am well known for taking a bigger portion from say a casserole sized pan. Limitations are good!

Also loved your pearlie girlie jeans. Hope you'll wear them next week.

  12. My mom used to make this in a glass pan, and she called it Cherry Pie Cake. It is so delicious!

The individual jars are the perfect way to keep from overdoing it. LOL

  17. My youngest son always has to have a no-bake cherry cheesecake for his birthday every year, Stacey. This recipe is very similar, and I love the cute idea of using the canning jars, which I already have!
Thank you for your sweet visit to my blog...xx
