First Friday Home Tour Featuring Just Plain Jilly

Happy Friday Sweet Friends!

I'm so happy to share this month's First Friday Home Tour today.  I first spotted Jill on Instagram when my eagle eyes spied a fellow Texan. Y'all know I can see that a mile away!  Jill has recently started a new blog Just Plain Jilly and I bet you'll love her style as much as I do.

Jill lives in Waco, TX...yes, that famous little town where Fixer Upper is made. She's got the scoop on some fun places to shop that you may have heard of. Jill loves to shop at Laverty's, Junque in the Trunk and The Cedar Chest but she's also a garage sale girl. Giving new life to old found pieces is something she really enjoys.

Jill paints furniture, paints walls, and she sews curtains and bedding.  Do you see the ruffles and slipcovers in her rooms? This is such a beautiful look that can not be achieved by heading straight for the big box stores. I love her collected but clean look.

Recently, Jill gained the courage to leave a 34 year marriage and is navigating life on her own. She has been writing and will soon be featured by Modern Texas Living sharing her experiences at this stage of life.

Jill has a room in her home especially for her two year old grandson.

Her talent isn't confined to her home only. Jill sews and helps others decorate their homes.  She's not afraid to try a new paint color at a moment's notice. If she doesn't like it...no problem! She grab's a brush and changes things.

Jill's a gardener too. I'm impressed. Aren't you?  I hope you'll add Just Plain Jilly to your list of blogs to visit. Pop on over and give this talented new blogger a visit. You can find her here on Instagram.

Thank you so much Jill for allowing me to share your home and your talent.
