First Friday Home Tour #9 Featuring Country Cottage Living

Welcome to this month's First Friday Home Tour.

Today we are visiting Camellia Cottage which is the home of
Melanie who blogs at Cottage Living Living.  I first discovered Melanie a year or two ago and was immediately in love with her site because she's a fabulous photographer. She has the uncanny ability to capture mood and feelings in her photos. Take a look and I know you'll agree...I'll let Melanie do the talking.

"I like to call our house Camellia Cottage because when we moved in there were several camellia bushes bursting with blooms."
Camellia Cottage is about 1100 square feet and is a haven for a family of four.

Melanie says, "The favorite part of the house is the backyard where there are
lots of flower beds and birds singing and I just love it!"

"My woodworking husband built our Rustic Hutch in the Dining area and it's my fav!
He also built our Living Room furniture and my Potting Bench and the Adirondack chairs."

"I've been blogging for 6 years and I've learned a lot! I'm now crazy about photography and have just started getting clients! My styling and photography work has been published a handful of times and I'm excited for what God has in store for my creativity."

"I have a few mottoes lately in regards to my creativity and life: Strive for Joy and Play."

“Maybe those things bringing you joy do so because they are one of the many ways in which God wants to declare his glory through you.”
― Emily P. FreemanA Million Little Ways: Uncover the Art You Were Made to Live

"Being small is okay. "

"More is not always better. "

"There are more awesome things than money."

You can visit Melanie's blog Country Cottage Living and follow her on Instagram.
You'll enjoy your visits as much as I do.

Thank you Melanie for allowing me to feature your home and your beautiful work this month.
