Thanksgiving Vignettes to Warm Your Home

Today's post includes a gathering of some very talented blog friends who are sharing a
few Thanksgiving or Fall vignettes that can be easily recreated.

I'm pretty sure nobody from this group went shopping.
We all just used what we have at home already to create a little
spot of pretty for the Thanksgiving season.

We hope you find some inspiration today.

This is my entry table.
The spot is very narrow and honestly, I always have a hard time decorating
and photographing here.

Most of you suggested changing up the textures and shopping my house.
So with that idea, I found the lamp you see here in the's old as the hills but I still like it.
Changed the lampshade to burlap and now it feels like new!

The art is a free printable provided by Aimee at It's Overflowing.
Isn't this just perfect for an entry? The talent of some of our blogging friends
just amazes me. Thanks Aimee for this pretty artwork.

We want friends and family to gather here and feel welcomed.
This little message greets people when they come in the door.

Thanks for coming by on this gorgeous fall day.
I hope you will go visit the beautiful blogs and vignettes created by

Have a great week!

  1. Your entry always looks inviting! I love the lamp, great idea to cover the shade in burlap, I have been trying to work up the courage to recover a lampshade and this gives me the push to go ahead and try it. Yours turned out great! I love the printable too, there are so many pretty free printables available now it's easy to change them out on a regular basis. Have a great week Stacey!

  2. So pretty, Stacey, as always! Your entryway looks fabulous and I love the new burlap shade, it's perfect for the season! Thanks for inviting me to share today! Fun, fun, fun! :)

  8. Very nice, love the lamp!

  9. Stacey, I think you did a fabulous job with your entry! It looks perfect. One would think that narrow or small spaces would be the easiest to decorate, but I have found they are absolutely the most difficult! Have a wonderful day! Hugs!!

  10. That's such a simple and pretty vignette. You don't need much more than that! I love the printable that you framed with the pumpkin beside it. The diamond shape panes on your table add a lot of interest.

  11. I always love everything done around a stack of books. It looks lovely my friend. Hugs, Diane

  12. Your entry looks beautiful. I love that art work and the saying! Have a wonderful week!

  15. So pretty Stacey, serene and inviting!

  16. What is it about stacked books that always make a vignette picture perfect? It's lovely Stacey, and the lamp looks right at home...not too big, not too small....just right.

  17. Hi Stacey! You have a wonderfully welcoming entry - the color of your mirror and cabinet is fabulous. Lucky visitors who are greeted by this view. Jane

  18. Very pretty, Stacey! I love stacking books and using them in a vignette.

  19. Beautiful and simple!
I love the framed saying, such nice words to greet your guests!
And not buying a bunch of stuff and using what you have makes it that much nicer!
    Happy Tuesday!

  20. Hi Stacey,
Your entry looks very inviting and warm for all your family and friends to gather. Happy New Week.

  21. Stacey,
Just the right touches to welcome everyone as they enter. The lamp is a great size and shape for the narrow table. Hope you are having time to enjoy our beautiful fall weather.

  24. Sweet and inviting entry Stacey! Love the graphic and the new lampshade.

  25. Love the framed pic on the stack of books. Adorable. A friend of Barb's, comoing over to say hi! I blog, too, at Love to have you stop by! I think I am a no reply blogger, and I don't know how to change it. So here's my email, just in case.

  26. This is just perfect, Stacey! First, I love your cabinet. And the lamp is really pretty---it's great that we can now buy just lampshades to change up the pricey actual lamps! And I really like how you have stacked the books to display the pumpkin...I love doing that where I can...good storage for all those books!!

    Thanks for the ideas.

    Jane x
