Mondays

Every day of the week is pretty great but Mondays are different.

Mondays are hot off the press! I like that. :)

Mondays are fresh fruit in cute bowls because this week we are going to eat healthier.

Mondays have perfectly poofed pillows and the notice of a little dog
hair even though she's not supposed to be up there.

Mondays have lofty goals and a long to do list.

That's my Monday.
How does yours look?
I hope you have a great one.

  4. That fruit looks delish! Maybe I'd eat more fruit if I topped it with a dash of whipped cream. :) Fruit is so inexpensive right now. I just scooped up a ton of peaches for .77 cents a pound and strawberries for a mere .97 cents a pound! I have a similar to-do list today. I also just realized it's time to clean my Keurig. Guess I'll add that to my never ending to-do list. It sure takes a lot to keep this household running smoothly. :)

  6. My Monday consisted of carpenters showing up early to start my deck and the plumber here putting new fixtures in for the new shower. Hectic, hectic. But, I keep telling myself it will all be worth it.

    Have a great week.

  12. Mondays....payroll, taxes, write some blogs for the week, take some photos, clean house, do laundry...yep, that's just the start of it! But I sure do love those peaches in that bowl!! Have a great evening!

  13. Our Monday was going to the rescue of my daughter, Amber. She was terribly ill and LOuis Dean took her to the Emergency Room while I cared for the quads. It was a long day but she is better this evening and her husband is with her so we came home to sleep in our own beds!
    I prefer YOUR Monday!!

  14. Mondays are normally a relaxing day here, but I spent the day creating things for the wedding when I thought I was done last week.

    Enjoy your Tuesday!

  15. Yes, Mondays do hold a lot of promise for getting things done. Sometimes, for me, it's tackling some of those phone calls that I have been putting off.
Fresh fruit definitely tastes better in a cute bowl :).

  18. Hello, Stacey! I think You got more done than I did yesterday....I wasted the entire morning waiting for the GE repairman who never showed....but I did go to my afternoon portraiture painting class!

LOVE seeing fur on the pillow. That is *so* OK!

  19. HI Stacey! Looks like a pretty busy Monday you had! Cleaning windows? :) I'm still trying to get better organized in certain rooms as I just crammed things in when we moved here! :) Wanna come over? ;)
    Be a sweetie,

  21. Mondays are usually full of "to do's" for me which is why I usually dread them. However, I may need to adopt your way of thinking. It would be much nicer not to dread Monday's and think of it as a clean slate for a new week.
