  11. Every year faithfully! Now I go for digital, so far no call backs. I used to get called back everytime and the anxiety was off the hook! Glad I found your blog!

  12. Thanks for the reminder. I go every October. My mom is a 12 year survivor thanks to early detection from her yearly mammogram. I am walking in the Tampa Bay Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure to honor her and other special women in my life who have battled this horrific disease.

A coworker was inspired by Robin Roberts story on GMA to get a mammogram; again due to early detection she is gratefully a 3 survivor.

Your reminder can be life saving.

  13. I go six months after my annual visit with my doctor. Then I at least feel like a get at least two good checks a year by someone else.

  15. Hi Stacey,

Well I love your reminder and public service announcement! I'm an OB/GYN nurse and we are always trying to educate women to have them done timely! I go to Breast Imaging in Edmond...maybe I'll see you there sometime..LOL Your doctor should give you a gold star for being such a good patient!

  17. Glad you are a reminder. I did a post last year about my mammogram. As women, we need to support each other in our quest to stay healthy.

The Magnolia - oh my heart be still. Not my yard but I have a beautiful park just a two minute walk from my home filled with the most gorgeous trees. It's my dog's favorite place to walk so we go there as much as we can.
