I just love to play house. Don't you?

Moving things around. Cleaning. Burning a yummy candle.

I just love it. :)

  11. Nothing like being home, catching up on chores and "puttering" my favorite afternoon! And yes, a yummy candle just makes it perfect. And I really laughed about Michelle's arms waving at the same time that her hands do! Really funny!!
    Stay warm over there!

  12. I agree with you, especially when it is so cold and windy outside. I like seeing the finished product when you add your artistic touches.

  18. Oh yes, I love to move things around! When we first married, my husband kept saying that he didn't like have to look behind him before he sat down to make sure I hadn't move his chair some place else! I guess after 40 years, he's used to it, because he doesn't talk about it any more. Now he just says, "how did you get that piece of furniture moved, and where is the piece that used to be here"? laurie

  21. Hi Stacey,

Hope the dining room painting is coming along! It is soooo cold -I can't remember it ever getting this cold in OK since I've lived here for 25 years...brrrr. Hope you keep safe and warm. I love to burn candles when I'm home cleaning too...makes me feel so cozy! Have a great weekend!

  22. It seems to take so much longer after Christmas and company to restore order than it used to.

  23. Stacey, I love moving things around, too ... I call it "piddling," and I am a master at it.

  24. Oh you and I must be sisters... I love piddling around the house. And I think I need to do a little more of that this year.

  25. Most definitely! Although I don't move things around very much!

I just enjoy seeing everything tidy, organized, clean, with little touches of domestic splendor for my family & guests to enjoy: captivating books on the shelves, inspirational magazines to leaf through, sweet smelling candles with their tranquil flickering flames, cozy warm throws to snuggle up with, and beautiful decorative touches throughout!

    Lovely post!

  26. I am constantly moving{improving} things...my husband used to hate it, especially if I moved furniture during the day and he'd bump into it in the dark coming home late :) Now he says I keep him on his toes...after almost 15 years of marriage...what else is he going to say! *laughing*

I will still enter you in my surprise giveaway, if it's ok with you...It's something handmade by me and ready made to use. Let me know if you're alright with that?!

    fyi.
the story about the zicam isn't my story, it was something my daughter (who is a RN) sent on to me to pass along..I can't imagine having to live like that...
