Isn't She Lovely?

This is my amaryllis in full glory. I took her out in the sunshine so you could see how pretty she is. She's about 30 inches tall with four huge blooms!

Our whole family is in awe...even the men. :)
Hope you have a wonderful Monday.

  1. They are such an impressive flower aren't they?

We've tried sedating her when she was small and still in stroller. Even then as soon as we got in the room the adreneline would kick in and she could still fight like a wild animal. She had been doing better but we hadn't had to do a blood draw for a few years. Hopefully this will be the last surgery for a long time.
    Hugs,
    Dawn

  8. Hi Stacey! What a magnificent flower! I do love them! My mom's neighbor in south Georgia has about 50 of them growing along a fence and when they bloom...cars stop! Yes, I know...she has them planted outdoors. Can you imagine? Beautiful! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie

  28. Lovely amaryllis, BTW.

Stacey, my trips were all missions trips. You'd be very surprised what you CAN do when God is in it.

I'm taking (along with one other teacher) our Senior Class to Costa Rica on their senior trip/missions trip. I'm sure I'll have some posts about that at the time - - -
