Temptation

Just ran into the grocery store for a pound of ground beef.

The candy corns were there....you understand. Then I remembered the candy corn and peanut combination discovered last year.

Why, oh why, did I buy them?

  1. Geez, I don't know if I should say thanx for not, lol.
    This really looks delicious!
All I have on hand at the moment is cashews to go along with the candy corn.
    Hmmm, it could work.

    Thanx!

  2. Hey Stacey, I just got back from the grocery store with eight bags of Halloween candy for Beggar's Nite. And guess who already got into the bag and has had 3 candy bars? Yup, I cannot resist, either. I stuck it all in the freezer so maybe it's out of sight, out of mind. But I know it's there....What's a girl to do?

  3. I have been putting off getting the candy corn as I absolutely can not stop once I start eating it...already have the peanuts.

Now seeing it in your posting is making my mouth just drool with the anticipation of snacking on this combination.

So if I gain 20 lbs during this fall season...Stacey it is all your fault lol.

  11. Fortunately I'm not a big fan of candy corn LOL! I'd rather have a million of those teeny snickers bars!

  12. I heard this combination was a tasty one. Since I am not a fan of candy corn this I could let on my counter...but don't think highly of that, because if it were yellow raisins and salted almonds, it would be another story with me.

    Happy Monday!

  16. What a great combo, Stacey, and I appreciate all the warnings!! I know I should buy my candy before it is picked over but I know I will get into it and putting it into the freezer doesn't help, I love frozen chocolate. I try to buy all Reese's peanut butter candy because I am that one odd duck that doesn't like chocolate and peanut butter together. My little goblins will be wondering about their lack of choices!!

  17. That just looks yummy and so "Fall". So far, our football season is going great with LSU. How are things for you? OU is certainly having issues aren't they?

  20. Corn is a vegetable and peanuts are protein ~ a very healthy snack. It's all in how you look at it :-)
