Details, The Nester, & Happiness

Have you been following The Nester's 31 Days to a Better Dressed Nest?

Well I have. Some days I think this girl is just brilliant!
This post that she did reminded us to fill in blank spaces and pay attention to details.

Went to Hobby Lobby and found that pretty scrolly thing up on top for $14.99.

My wall feels complete now.

Thank you Nester for making me remember to fill in the spaces and pay attention to details.

  15. I often wonder why some walls look complete and others look too spare. I love the scrolly thing you found! I need something for above my bed but I'm not sure what. I have curved metal at the top of my headboard. Thanks for the link. I didn't know anything about it and I am interested!

  24. First, you are the sweetest thing, Stacey girl. THANK YOU so much for linking me today. My desk top is just sick as it can be...doon't know if they can fix it or not.
We finally got my laptop up and going. I have the worst luck with computers.

I HAVE been following the Nester. I love her!! She is smart and so resourceful. I try to do everything she tells us to do. :O)

  25. Hey Stacey,

I like that sweet picture under your scrolly piece. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal at $14.99.

I'm also cheating and commenting on an old post. My two favorite decorating books (and believe me, I have a ton) are Winter House by Charlotte Moss and An Affair with a House by Bunny Williams. They are both a little higher priced than the Nell Hill's books (also yummy), but so worth it. And to second what someone else said, if you've never been to NH in Atchison, go quickly! It is jaw dropping divine.

  47. Hi Stacey! My Pup is about 10 or 11 years old. We are not sure. My son rescued him when he was young. The owner kicked and beat him. Took him about 3 yrs to get over it but now he knows he is greatly loved. I like your place here. Hugs
