Rhondi's Porch and Patio Party

Time for Rhondi's Porch Party!

I've really been looking forward to this event. Some of you have been giving
peeks of your porches and I can't wait to see them.

Welcome to our house. This is our front porch...Oklahoma style.

This little cart of mine has undergone a metamorphosis since I showed it to you a few weeks ago. We've always just placed pots of geraniums in the cart. Recently I discovered that you can buy the coco liners by the roll. That's exactly what was needed to transform this cart and use every inch of the space. A little Miracle Grow potting soil and lots of plants equals BEAUTIFUL.

You saw this little pretty for the Flaunt Your Reds party. She hangs on the front door each summer. Have to confess that by the end of summer the caladiums will be attacking people. It's so pretty I don't mind.

Thanks for stopping by our front porch today.

  2. Your porch certainly says "Welcome" with the lovely flowers - especially the ones in the cart.

I have not seen the fiber padding in rolls - but have not looked for it either---where did you find it? Having some of that means other items could be a planter - like your cart.

  7. Love, love, love your front porch. The flower pouch and the little cart are so pretty. I don't know how you get the plants to live in that pouch but I need to give it a try. Is there a hole in the bottom?

  32. I read in a hospitality book recently, that your front door should always "say welcome", or in other words give a sense of welcome. Yours does just that. It is beautiful! You sure do have a green thumb, and an eye for color.
