Yes I'm Eating Too Much

So this is how the conversation went as we were snuggling in bed last night:

Stacey said, "I just don't feel good. I think I have eaten too much."

Paul said in his sweetest we've been married almost 21 years voice, "Well you eat like a farm hand. Pumpkin pie, pecan pie, sweet potato pie, and that cinnamon thing Cindy made."

Don't you just love it when someone is keeping track of your intake?!!!

Speaking of the cinnamon thing, my friend Cindy made a cheesecake that was to die for. I will try to get that today.

Now it's 8:05 am and I already need a Tums...it's so pathetic.

  1. Oh yes, I am full. I am debating on throwing leftovers out. Everyone has left except for my son and I. Do I really need an almost whole pecan pie for myself. Maybe not.....

  3. Oh Im right there with you sister! My stomach is just not what it should be. It's sad that I just cant step away from all of that sweet stuff. Just one more...it adds up.
About that paint,ughhh.... I did use the same exact color as Miss Pat. It's Interesting Aqua by Sherwin Williams. I think it was just too dark for my room and it didnt play nicley with my countertops. I still love the color dearly but now I just have to admire hers I guess. I finished up painting last night. Now I need new curtains, hehe~

  14. I love that you can write about that conversation on your blog and laugh at it. :) If you're not going to eat poorly during the holidays, when else can you? Be a farm hand!

  16. I love that story! hahaha Sounds familiar, we have been married almost 20 years and we have had some of those types of conversations. My favorite one is when my hubby talks about how he needs to lose weight. I then say "you don't need to lose weight" and he says "well, we're both getting older, and our bodies just aren't the same as they were when we were thirty". Notice he says "we" and "our"...I just say "thanks honey!" Good thing we are still so crazy about each other!!!

  19. Why is it men always seem to know what to say when you're dating? But when you're married, they come up with remarks like that!

  26. I can so relate! It seems I've gone crazy the past week just eating and eating and not exercising. I keep saying I'll get back on track tomorrow, but then I'm bad again. I did go walking today though.

  29. Stacey,

That is so funny, Paul sounds like my husband, keeping track of what I eat, of course he eats double what I do, but do I say anything? Of course not.
