Welcome to the home of The Goodwill GalLisa shares her home on her blog, YouTube, and Instagram. Lisa's home is so pretty and she loves to decorate with her thrifty finds. When you watch her videos or read her blog, you'll learn about her collections which have been amassed over time and for great prices.

Here's a little about Lisa and her family:

My husband and I have been married for 26 years and both grew up in Colorado on a farm and a ranch. That's where my love of rustic and repurposing started, I've carried around driftwood, rocks, and rustic ranch pieces since I left Colorado and moved to Arizona to go to college.

We have three kids, two boys who play golf and travel hockey and a daughter who plays travel soccer, so you can imagine how busy they all keep us. Two of the three kids live at home. We also have a Golden Retriever (Stevie) and a Shih Tzu (Oreo).

I've been thrifting since I was young, both of my parents loved to shop at thrift stores so it all began quite early. I'm like all thrifters, we all love to see what we can find at the best price! It's quite addicting.

The eye-catching blue door in the kitchen is the pantry! Lisa says it's quite spacious with restaurant shelving and a refrigerator hidden inside. This pantry holds all of the food and small appliances. She's planning to share a YouTube video on the pantry soon.

There are so many wonderful details in this custom kitchen. The farm sink, plate racks, glass front cabinets, and open shelves provide one spot after another for displaying collections. Can't you just imagine standing in here with a cup of coffee and listening to Lisa's thrifting secrets? Lisa recently styled her milk glass shelves for spring by adding colorful flowers.  Like most of us who love a bargain, Lisa explains that some of her pieces were collected for less than $1.00! I love that she shares details like that.

Do you spy the Boos cutting board on the counter? That is also a thrifty find which falls into
The Top 3 Thrift Finds.  Speaking of Top 3, you have to see Lisa's huge wooden bowl that she decorates for the seasons.

Lisa has been collecting milk glass for about 10 years and feels she's just getting started! She has most of it here in the kitchen but has found special ways to use the pieces around the house too. The majority of the pieces are from Goodwill but many have been gifts from friends who know the way to her heart.

Since this is Arizona, we can follow Lisa out onto the patio to enjoy the fireplace and the pool. Wouldn't this be a wonderful spot to enjoy a springtime meal?

Let's go back in the house and look around...

Lisa tells us:

When you walk in from the entryway you walk directly into a great room. It's a family room, dining area, kitchen and even a pool table, all in one. We are not formal dining room people so every space is used.  When people ask me about my decorating style I say, I decorate our home to be a lay on the couch, eat a slice of pizza if you feel like it, kind of decorating. It has to be comfy and cozy.

The painting above the fireplace is actually the packaging that the coffee table came in.  I had my friend Stephanie pull the colors from the space and just go for it! The huge wooden bowl on the fireplace is one of my top 3 Goodwill finds for $14.00! Also, those driftwood "Sputniks" came my way from another thrift store for $24.99. The big one currently sells at Pottery Barn for $49!

The master bedroom has a great view out to the patio and pool. In her master bathroom, she has found the best way to display her collection of vintage brooches. Be sure to check that video out.

I could keep going because there's so much to see when you visit The Goodwill Gal on YouTube, her blog, or other social media. Lisa shares crafts, hospitality ideas, thrift store finds, and home decor.  Be sure to see her amazing laundry room, vintage guest bedroom, and more.

Please consider pinning or sharing. :)

Good Afternoon Stacey, My word, what a beautiful home. I love the open plan style. It reminds me of our home in Cyprus.
Lisa has created such a comfortable home and I love that she has been collecting milk glass for quite a few years. My love, is blue and white china, which I have been buying for quite a while. I get very excited when I see a bargain piece of Blue Delft. I bought a plate the other day for £2 and when I looked on the back there was a price tag of 49 euros..... the original price.... now that is a bargain.
Have a lovely weekend.
Best Wishes
Daphne

There are so many things to admire in this beautiful home. I think my favorite is the use of blue, the door, the cupboard, it adds such a vibrant pop of color.

Stacey the moment I saw that blue door I was instantly drawn to it. It reminds me of the color that many Greek houses have either on the balcony or on the shutters. And then scrolling down I was even more impressed with the sereneness and beauty of this house.
