First Friday Home Tour #8 Featuring The Crowned Goat

Welcome to our First Friday Home Tour for the month of September.
Can you believe it's September?

This month I'm proud to share Coco of The Crowned Goat with you.
Coco is a powerhouse of energy. She's always, always redoing something and creating beauty in her home.  She'll be doing the talking below.
Enjoy the tour and be sure to visit her blog as often as possible.

A big thank you to Stacey for asking me to be a part of this series.
It’s always fun to get a sneak peek into so many gorgeous homes.
For those of you I haven’t the pleasure to meet yet, I’m CoCo and I blog over at
The Crowned Goat. I’ve lived on a tiny island in North Florida for almost 7 years now.
At first, I thought everything should be shells and coastal inspired for this little cottage
we’ve named Journey’s End but over the years I’ve come to realize calming neutrals
are my signature style.

Most days you can find me covered in glitter, glue, paint, stain or sawdust. I love to repaint furniture and give old things new life.  You can also find me riding around in our old truck affectionately known as The Cherry Bomb picking up exciting finds from the treasure trail.  I've been a vendor selling reclaimed, vintage and upcycled items for a few years now.  Some days I don't find anything at all. But other days I find so many goodies,

My favorite room in the house is probably my office.  We recently made over the entire space for the Spring One Room Challenge.   My bestie S build the work island, my dad built the bookcases and my mom helped with the product sourcing and styling.  She is hands down my favorite design partner and constantly inspires me.  I still can't believe I get to work int his space every single day.  it feels like such a blessing to have everyone give their best gifts to make it all happen.

We’re almost always working on some sort of project at Journey’s End.
We just finished giving one of the bathrooms a bit of a makeover....

and hope to start working on the kitchen sometime soon too.

Just off the kitchen is the laundry room and on any given day you can hear the hum of those hard working machines trying to keep up with my “DIY Wardrobe” (think paint splattered shirts and holey pants that you wouldn’t be caught dead in the grocery store wearing he he).

Despite crazy schedules and ongoing projects, it’s at the end of the day when the magic happens…where we love and share and laugh and play. Those are the moments I cherish the most despite the paint all over my hands and stuck in my hair.

It has been super hot in Florida this summer but I’m really excited about the upcoming fall season.  It’s the perfect time to linger over a pumpkin spiced latte and just enjoy being together.

Isn't her island home special? Thanks Coco for sharing your beautiful home with us.
I love seeing homes that are filled with so many personal touches produced from hard work.

Very fresh and inviting home! The office is my favorite and looks like it came straight out of HGTV....maybe Joanna Gaines helped with the décor?! I would love to create in there!

Absolutely gorgeous!!!! So laid back and restful. I wish I could be brave enough to go all neutrals because I do love it so....but I love color too! It is a beautiful home and I thank you Stacey for sharing it with us! LOOOOOVE the headboard and laundry room - those drawers on the bottom of the washer and dryer (they have to be custom) - well....I bet they make doing laundry just lovely!
