First Friday Home Tour #7 Featuring Cobblestone Farms

Welcome to the First Friday Home Tour for the month of August.
This month I'm pleased to share Cathy's home with you at Cobblestone Farms.

Those of you who long for a farmhouse should know that this is the real thing!
I absolutely love Cathy's decorating sensibilities and her use of color. I'm going to let her do the chatting.

I love painted furniture!
I enjoy giving something old a new life - a lot of this desire simply comes from trying to save a few pennies plus I love the creative process.

My style evolves a lot - but I simply like for my home to feel happy and peaceful. There is nothing off limits here - there is not even anything shiny in our home - I don't think. I like things that bring comfort to those that visit our farmhouse...we live here, we love here and that is what I want them to take away when they leave.

I saw a sign that read "Faith, Family, Farm"....well, that just about sums it up for us.

We are very much an agriculture based family....raising beef cattle on our farm...my husband is an agriculture teacher plus my work involves growing flowers...from simple rows in the garden to complete greenhouse operations. The best part about my "job"...is that flowers always make people happy and over the course of 20 years....I have been blessed with lots of smiles because of my work.

I love pops of color and I have entirely too many pillows floating around in my storage room.
Pillows are an inexpensive and easy way to completely change a room and I think I may have an addiction!

My husband, son and I work hard but we are blessed and we are thankful.

Cathy, thank you so much for sharing your amazing farmhouse with us.

Readers, if summer heat is wearing on you, grab a big cold drink and pop over to Cobblestone Farms for a visit. You'll definitely want to stay awhile.

I do feel an atmosphere of love here. Happy and peaceful and comfortable. I visited a home once that had a cold feel. There were no personal items like photos and collections. The only thing alive were toys for the child. It seemed sad.
Your home has personality and charm. I loved your story about growing flowers and vegetables.

You have a gorgeous home. I love all those stunning details throughout your home. I can't just pick one thing I love the most because I love the side table with your quilts, the farm sign, the window, the barn door, or that stunning Welcome sign at your entryway. I am so happy you shared your home at Dishing it and DIgging it link party. We love having you.
