Banana Pudding in a Jar and I Love Lucy

I love to watch old episodes of I Love Lucy.  I love banana pudding too.  Do you?

Banana pudding is a little like I Love Lucy. Really it is!

Stay with me on this...

Lucy and Ricky were an unlikely match but they fell in love and made us laugh.  They had Little Ricky and a cute apartment.  They had best friends right next door who were very important to them.
Banana pudding and Nilla Wafers are also very different but together they transform into something amazing. Banana pudding can live be served in a big bowl or tiny, cute little jars. The bananas and pudding are best friends with cookies.

Did you follow me on that? If you bought that analogy and want your own Banana Pudding in a Jar it's super easy with this recipe.  I would give you my homemade pudding recipe but in all honesty, this one is better.

Don't forget the cute little jars. :)

I do love banana pudding and I love Lucy!! I could sit and watch that show for hours. This is such a great idea in the little cups. The last time I made banana pudding in a large bowl with all the vanilla wafers, they got soggy by the next day because it was too much for us all to eat the first day. The recipe sounds so good.

Mr. Sweet loves Banana Pudding...I like the pudding and the cookies but not the bananas...(I like dried bananas...and banana bread...so guess it's the texture of the bananas that I really don't like)
Sure looks cute in little jars...

Can you believe I have never had banana pudding? What can I say, I'm from the north. It sure looks good though, I would try it in a heartbeat, especially if someone served it up in cute little jars!

So cute in the jars. I have the pyres dish that my mom always made it in and I do the same. It just tastes best that way.

That looks so good! It's my husband's favorite dessert. I'm tempted to run out and buy the ingredients to make it for him. Hmmm...maybe tomorrow. It's 101 today!

Stacey, I love the cute idea of banana pudding in the jars! My family loves banana pudding, the only problem is ...some like it served warm from the oven and some like it cooled in the refrigerator! Have a wonderful week! Blessings, Pam @ Everyday Living

Those cute jars make everything prettier! When my son was in 6th grade, his drama teacher introduced them all to I Love Lucy and they loved it! Classic comedy at its best. :)

Love banana pudding! I made some when my son came home recently and it was gone before I got to taste it. The little jars would be a good idea for everyone to have a taste.
Truthfully, I was delighted he enjoyed it.

My husband doesn't even need the bananas or the pudding. Just give him a box of Nilla wafers and a cold glass of milk and he's in Heaven.

What a beautiful blog you have. I'm so glad I discovered it.

Happy day,

Stacey, banana pudding always reminds me of my maternal grandmother. She made hers with vanilla wafers too, and stored in the old Pyrex refrigerator dishes! Love your cute jar idea!
