Come on in to Rhonda's home at Ramblings of a Southern Girl.
The porch is ever changing for the seasons as Rhonda switches out the pillows and updates the plantings to welcome friends and family. Don't you just love this?
This is her pretty foyer. Rhonda recently shared a post called Little Touches That Make a Big Impact and I'd say this is one of her decorating strengths. She creates wonderful vignettes all around the house by incorporating an eclectic mix of vintage, antique, retro and some trendy pieces. With fondness she says she has, "an eclectic mix of vintage junk."
Peeking through this area you can see the beautiful mantel that is changed often but the portrait of her beautiful daughter always stays constant. I can see why!
Many things in her home have a story. The basket filled with a palm tree is an old crab basket she bartered for years ago. And fifty-six years ago, Mr. Rambling's grandmother could be heard playing and singing on this piano after she had her afternoon toddy. :)
There are often creative projects going on in her home.
The painted books above are just one example of revamping something to make it fresh and new.
Rhonda recently did a strawberry themed post in which she served up decor and a delicious recipe.
What more could you want?
I hope you'll put Ramblings of a Southern Girl on your list of places to visit.
You'll enjoy your time there, I promise.
