Super Simple Fall Touches that Anyone Can Do!

Working in our family room to add a little fall.....

First, a little pillow poofing.
Only the front pillow is new.
I ordered two of these from Birch Lane and they were very reasonable.

This pillow is a really oldie but goodie.
It had been hiding upstairs in the media room.
Much better here, for now.

Grocery store flowers keeping company next to Cottage Journal.

fall mantel, planked mantel

And the mantel you saw a few weeks ago.
The frame always stays up there and the artwork gets changed seasonally.
Easy peasy!

I love making our house feel pretty and fall like.
No need to change everything though. :)

Want to come sit awhile?

Stacey, I love your fall decorating. And of course, you have seasonal pillows…to poof! Small touches do so much to get our homes ready for a new season. I've never been happier to see fall than this year, I will admit. I can't get enough of fall flowers, magazines and pumpkins and gourds.

I've never thought of changing the art in a frame like you do. What a great idea! Your home looks beautiful and ready for fall.

I have been rearranging my home, too. I have tried pictures on every nail in the house. Is it a fall thing?

Love your fall touches Stacey. The floral pillow against the animal print chair is awesome. Fresh flowers always such a nice finish. You are so right, a few touches can make the difference without redoing the entire room over.
Love your mantel change out with the picture using the same frame. Brilliant!

It looked beautiful, Stacey! Nothing adds life to a room like fresh flowers and that black floral pillow is outstanding! It deserves a place in the spotlight!

I love the artwork on your mantle. You do a good job of adding in just the right amount of seasonal decor. I'm thinking of scaling down this year. I'm trying to adopt the "less is more" attitude, so we'll see. :) I'm glad your pretty pillow got a chance to shine again. It's gorgeous!

First I want to thank you for visiting my blog and leaving sweet comments, Stacey!

Now, I just have to say, the millwork on your mantel is gorgeous! The top could be bare and it would still be lovely.....but you really did add just enough simple and warm touches to add that touch of charm. Great idea to keep reusing the frame. Do you use velcro to attach the seasonal prints....that is genius! My favorite place to get fresh flowers is Trader Joe's. You can just count on them being fresh and well-tended while in the store.
