I Didn't Mean to Disappear

Hi y'all!!  Happy Spring to You.

I know I'm so late saying that but I have a good excuse.
Life...that's my excuse.

Back on March 22nd my husband and I spent the day out on "the land".
It was a perfectly beautiful day for just walking, talking, and taking pictures.

I hope you don't mind that I'm sharing a bunch here.
These are unedited and I'm just happy with the way they captured the day.

We saw lots and lots of deer tracks but this raccoon track stole the show for me. :)

We made the trip on this particular day to see if the dogwoods and redbuds were blooming.
We weren't disappointed.

Nature is just amazing.
Don't you think?

Do you like to trek around outside?
You know I love gardening but will confess that I don't spend enough time out here with him.

Thank you to those of you who sent messages checking on me.
You remind me that this blog isn't just a website but is part of a community.

Lots to share in the upcoming weeks and I'm so inspired by all that you all are up to!

Well hiya stranger!!!!!! It's great to see you and your land is lovely!!! I collect raccoon "stuph", so your pawprint is specially cute to me!! We live in town, but on two acres of land....the flowers are taking over the back 40...we have bluebonnets, verbena, evening primrose and about 20 others that I don't have space to name. There is also a gigantic wisteria :^) It is truly beautiful to go out there and stomp around......mowing it.....not so much :^(
Blessings to you,
J

So nice to see a post from you, Stacey. I must admit to being a bit concerned about you but I hesitated in sending an e-mail as I didn't want to cross any boundaries.
Happy Spring. Your photos are all so lovely.

These are some really neat pictures, Stacey! I miss having big open spaces around me. But at least spring is here. I personally think winter went by fast, but I was busy so that's probably why.

Hope all is well and can't wait to hear what you've been up to!

All such beautiful photos. I love seeing a glimpse of nature from your neck of the woods. The raccoon track immediately made me think of my dogs and their muddy foot prints.

I didn't email ( didn't want to disturb ) but I did check in a few times and was getting a bit worried.

All these shots are beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

Spring is so wonderful and so fleeting..
