A Cookies and Milk Monday

Happy Monday Y'all!

Today is perfect here in Rockwall, Texas.
It's 73 degrees, the sun is shining, the water in the pond is sparkling, and the birds are singing.
The frogs have even popped out of hibernation and are singing their
mating call. :)

So many reasons to smile including these oatmeal raisin cookies that just came out of the oven.
I hope you are having a wonderful day too.

WOW, 73!!! We're in the 60's today. Yesterday was really beautiful. It felt like spring. Enjoy your milk and cookies!

I miss frogs! We're in the middle of an ice storm today. The giant piles of the snow are now frozen solid. Boo.

That sounds so good. I eat oatmeal for breakfast but haven't made cookies in a long time. Enjoy your afternoon. Take it easy and get better! Sweet hugs, Diane

We had close to 70 in Raleigh on Sunday. It was so nice and I spent most of the time outside. Those cookies look delicious!

I wish I had one ~ or 3 or 5 of those cookies! I haven't made them in a very long time. I didn't realize or have forgotten, that you're in Rockwall! Not really that far from me. This weather is wonderful isn't it? :)

It really was beautiful!!! I did some more work in our rose garden. Oh to have a full time gardener! I could so keep him busy - for a long, long time anyway! But it's only I hacking away at bushes and plants like I know what I'm doing.....and I really don't!

That sounds so perfect! Well...except for the frogs. I'm terrified of them. :) The cookies look amazing! We hit 82 today, if you can believe that. Kinda scares me as to how hot our summer is going to be. We started the demo on our kitchen backsplash today and my house is a mess. Sure wish I could join you for some of those cookies. :)

Ooohhh, I'm so jealous of the weather where you are. Today, it was just a little above 30 degrees where I live and right now, we're getting freezing rain.

Those oatmeal raisin cookies look so yummy. Save a couple for me... :)

Everything looks beautiful, but I have to confess, I'm of the belief that raisins spoil perfectly good cookies!
(such a rebel).

Warm and sunny here in South Alabama as well. - It's our little gift for putting up with the humid summers!

The sun is shining in southern California too. It felt like a hot summer day. I am thinking about baking some Valentine cookies, but it is supposed to be in the 80's tomorrow.

Hi Stacey, your cookies look yummy! Yes, our temp was 73 degrees too and a glorious day to be outside. More of the same today. I see new blooms peeking up through the ground in my garden. Love it.
Enjoy another wonderful day.

While I miss the cooler temps, and a few days lately have reached 80, it has been nice out in the evenings. My dog constantly badgers me to play outside with her (to fetch her favorite pet rock), and it is pretty pleasant out there near sundown. (But I do miss the cold weather. I dread summer's arrival).

Although I have to say I cannot wait for the bluebonnets to bloom!!!

I love the sounds of frogs and birds...and crickets, too.
