I'm Still Thinking About Fashion

The other day I told you about the
is having starting tonight at 12:01.
I participated in this back in the spring and had so much fun!
Doing it again for fall is a no brainer for me.

The Style Challenge info comes out tomorrow but all the ladies on the Facebook page
are already sharing inspiration and a little shopping info.
It's just fun to connect!

Here's what I've gotten so far in preparation for lookin' good this fall and winter.
Now mind you it's 80+ degrees here today but that's ok....cooler weather will come.

I ordered the three sweaters you see below from Loft when they were 50% off a few days
ago. By the way, never buy something at Loft unless it's on sale.

This blue striped sweater is super soft and fits cute.
I'll wear it with jeans..no leather skirts in my world.
In fact I'm a Jeans Every Day kind of girl.

Absolutely love the jewels on this sweater.
It's lightweight and pretty perfect for some of our cooler days.

This sweater is called Mixed Mosaic Woven Sweater.
For some reason I love the different patterns but we'll have to see about the
shape of it. When something resembles a maternity item, this 51 year old
doesn't keep it.

Do you love fall clothes too?

Come check out the Style Challenge  so we can talk about clothes
like old friends do. :)

I love the middle sweater! Even though I live in Michigan, I just can't wear a sweater unless I'm outside, I get too warm!

Hi Stacey- Looks like you're having fun! I hope all your purchases work out well for you. I love fall clothes, too- but generally the idea of a toasty sweater tends to end up a disappointment for me in real life. They nearly all need to be 'laid flat to dry' and so often, they are too bulky to wear around as I am doing housework. I just got a few new sweaters from LOFT myself, and I was drawn to them because they are 3/4 length sleeves, a thinner material and best of all they do in the dryer!!

Cute! I agree with you about that swing/ maternity look. It's all the rage and I just look at those clothes and think, no. It looks very comfy though.

These tops will look so cute on you. I love to wear lightweight sweaters and tops for Fall and winter. I need a couple of new cardigans. Sweet hugs, Diane

I have started a Pinterest board on fashion, and I have pinned a lot of fall looks. I am going for the jean, boot, sweater look. Come see!

Stacey...these are super cute sweaters and I do love sweaters! I prefer knits if I'm just hanging out at home, but when I go out (spring, fall and winter), it's in a sweater.

I think the last sweater just isn't fitted. It might mention something like that in the description and I always read reviews when I shop online. Sometimes it's hard to really see the quality of the fabric. I've never shopped at Loft, I have to take a look. I'm larger on top than the bottom, jeans are easy to find but tops can run small. Most times a looser bottom on a sweater is better for me than a straight hem.

Sounds like you are having lots of fun! :)

How much fun Stacey!
I didn't know about this challenge, but I am off to read more.
I love clothes and it is especially fun dressing in the fall when it isn't so hot.

Ha!
That isn't true in Texas is it?

Those are cute sweaters! I can't wait until "sweater weather." :) We're supposed to be in the upper 50's Saturday and Sunday mornings. Yippee!

Those sweaters are so pretty and look super comfy. It is hard to believe summer is over and cool weather is ahead...seems like the days pass so quickly.

I especially like the sweater in the middle. I like fashion so much, but I do spend lots of the time in jeans. But in my mind, jeans and fashion go together. Thanks for sharing this fashion post.
