Spencer's Bedroom Reveal

He's our #1 son and when he comes to visit we want him to be comfortable.
Before this room was dark and the bedding had flowers.
He didn't like either of those things.

So we planked the wall above the bed and painted it Snowbound by Sherwin Williams.
This brought so much more light to the room.
I found the perfect artwork for above the bed which should be here in about 3 weeks.

Love this navy and white bedding!
I found this in one quick stop at Kohl's.
No driving all over town - I like that.
Of course, there has to be a nightstand and a lamp beside the bed for the reading he likes to do.
And on the other side of the room, a chest of drawers
and shelves filled with things we love to see. :)
I'd like to find a bench for the end of the bed and a nice big mirror for
one of the walls you can't see.

Feels great to have this job done.:)

Your son's bedroom looks fantastic! I love the planked wall. The pillow choices are spot-on. I bet your son is excited to have such a nice room to come home to.

I love the new bedding. I tend to get more feminine bedding, and I'm sure my male guests would appreciate something more neutral. Blue is a great color for men and women! Nice.

The whole room looks cozy and inviting Stacey. I love finding everything I need in one stop and Kohl's has been a great place to do that so many times. The navy and blue and the mix of pillows is beautiful! With both girls gone we are in the process of shifting what seems like the whole house. Spreading out and taking over what used to be their rooms, but one of them will be a guest room. I am so excited to try and make it welcoming and homey for when they stay the night :>)

Blues and white are always such a beautiful combination! I have 4 sons and remember the challenge of 'decorating' for boys...or the lack of it! haha! Hubby brought home a pot of mums for me from Lowe's yesterday! YAY! Hugs, Diane

My kids knew fully well when we moved to the beach house that they would lose "their" bedrooms. That doesn't mean they don't wish they had their own space when they visit.

How lucky to find the bedding in one stop!

What a great room for your son, Stacey! I know that he will love it! Isn't Kohl's wonderful? It was one of the few places that I could just run in and out of when I was getting linens and towels for the guest room.

Perfect for your son but also a great balance between masculine and feminine. Great job. The wall is wonderful. I love you found the bedding all at one place.

Wow Stacey! It looks really great! Love the bedding too! Please show us the artwork when you get it. A perfect place for your son when he visits... my #1 son moved out last May and it's so weird that he's out living on his own. Son #2 got his room though...now he has to sleep on the couch when he visits but he doesn't mind. Have a great weekend!

Spencer has to feel important, that you created a room of welcome and colors that he is sure to want to come home too. I like your taste in decorating.

Waao what a great decoration of bed with different pillow its looks to be very awesome bed on bedroom, we can say that this bed I looking very perfect in seeing but the bed is not perfect until the we should not use the high quality mattress topper for it, when we use the quality mattress and then we decorate our bed like that then we will get very happy sleep with our love ones.
