Spring Mantel

Good Morning!

It really feels like spring here today.
The sun is shining and the day is sparkling outside.
It must be time to make the mantel look springy. :)

For me that means switching out the artwork.
This print was purchased last year and I love love it!!
I'm so excited to see it again.

My mantel doesn't change as much as some of yours and it's relatively simple.
That's how I like it.

Honestly, I tend to use the same things over and over in decorating.
For awhile (because of the influence of blogging) I felt that everything should be changed more.
But that's not us and I'm happy with that.

Can't wait to come by and see what the rest of you are up to today!

Stacey, love your mantel! That print is fabulous (and would look so good in my home :)

Yes, I'm so busy with life right now that I don't plant to do anything major with my mantel this year. There is pressure to change things up all the time when you blog (especially if blogging is your job).

Your mantel looks beautiful.
I love your print...and I, too, need to change out my mantel for spring.
Too busy right now, tho, working on the closet room. :)

I love your mantle, Stacey. It is simple, elegant and very colorful! Mine is currently empty. We do not use our living room much, so I forget about it...oops! I think I had better get on that! :)

I love the lantern with the love deep red ranunculus. It's stunning and the whole mantel vignette is gorgeous in its simplicity. ;)

Please come on over and link it up at Project Inspire{d} tonight. We go live every Monday night at 8 EDT. Hope to see you there?

I really like the colors in your print. The flowers in the lantern are a nice touch too. I'm taking down the St. Paddy's day stuff tomorrow and will probably just put my regular "everyday decor" back on the mantel. Until closer to Easter, that is. Then it'll have a few bunnies. :) Easter seems so late this year.

That print is wonderful! I don't change out my house very much either....I don't have a ton of accessories or room to store the extras.

I really like how fresh and clean looking this is. The red pops are fun and you really don't need much more to make it pretty. Love that print, too!

Very pretty, Stacey! I like a less cluttered look too and I don't think you tire of it as easily that way.

Hey Stacy, I am with you on the not changing quite so much. I love the pops of red on the flower coming out of your lantern and in your picture. Your picture looks perfect there and is so very springy indeed. Love it!

Love what you've done to your mantel. I tend to not switch mine up too often, which is just how I like it. Now, if spring would hurry up and get here, we'd be all set!

Your mantel, looks great! I like the picture and how the red candlesticks pull from it. I love lanterns and seeing what people do with them! The roses look wonderful,in yours- great ideas!

It looks great, Stacey! I love that print. I like simple on my mantel, too, and I also leave mine much the same all year long. I do most of my changes on the mantel at Christmas time and just change out what I prop on my candlesticks throughout the year.

I hope you keep the same mantel décor for a long time. It looks so attractive, especially with the print and the rose in the white lantern. I too enjoy seeing how bloggers do their mantels, and you sure do have the right touch!

Hi Stacey! Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my wreath:)

Your mantel is beautiful! It actually has most of the same elements as mine, except mine is not in the Spring mode yet. I have similar style candle sticks with white candles in them. Now I know what to do with them, to Spring-ify them. Thanks for the inspiration!

I use the same things over and over again because I like them. Recently, someone left a comment that read, "Haven't you already posted this tablecloth before?" or something like that. :/

Things we've collected and still love over the years make our house a home, so I understand exactly what you mean. I love the lantern, and of course you know I love the red!

I love your simple mantel, Stacey! things don't change much, either...just a few key places. You should see my mantel -- it is so simple, that simple is too simple a word for it! It does need a little pizzazz. I love your farmer's market print, and the lantern with the plant. Very nice!

Mila Bassett said...

I think, that's how it should be-- decorating with the things you own and love, and reuse.

I love your mantel. I am the same as far as decorating right now. I have had the same mantel since 4th of July. I love the idea of putting a plant in the lantern. You would love the huge lantern. Ok, I am officially jealous that you are that close to Laurie Anna's shop. I have always wanted to go there, you must have so much fun shopping. My favorite time would be to shop at Christmas, even to just get decorating ideas. Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by. Alaina
