Flowers For You Today

Happy September!

It's not time for pumpkins here just yet.

Still getting beautiful flowers from the yard.

These hyacinth bean vines came from about 8 seeds given to me two years ago.

They were shared by a sweet friend at my old school.

Found them in the drawer and plopped them in the ground.

Thank you very much. :)

If you would like some seed pods, let me know and I'll share with you.

I haven't been around much lately.

Life is extremely busy.

I didn't plant my hyacinth bean vine this year. I don't know where the seeds are. If I can't find them, I'll let you know. I got a packet of them from Renee's Heirloom seeds years ago, and have sent seeds from the plants all over the country. I love your first pic with the unusual little container for your flowers. Very "flea market."

Pretty vignette, Stacey! I'm not ready to get the fall decor yet, maybe in a couple of weeks.

These are gorgeous! I wish I inherited my mother's green thumb.

I am ready for pumpkins, but not just yet anyway. Maybe a Pumpkin Spice Latte will suffice though??:)

Love your little display! Red transferware is my favorite!

If I wasn't involved in that fall decorating party that starts next week, I probably wouldn't start thinking about fall until next month!

Your flowers are so pretty. I am not ready for fall yet either. Though we have had some cooler mornings here.

Those flowers are so pretty (and love the plate too!) It's still so hot here that it's hard to think about fall. Although I did see my local coffee shop already has pumpkin spice lattes back on the menu. :)

I've been very busy, too, so that makes two of us! I've heard of hyacinth bean but wasn't sure what it looked like. What a beauty...is it a vine?

Hope you are surviving the that I hear you are having.

Jane

Those are beautiful! I would ask for some seeds but that seems a little sinister since I have a brown thumb and their fate would probably be doomed! Thanks for sharing1

Stacey, your flowers are beautiful! Ours are still thriving, as well. I won't pull them out before the first frost. Gotta get my money's worth out of them!! Lol!

Lovely idea using the spice tin to display flowers! Your hyacinth is beautiful, and would like a seed or 2 for my garden!

Beautiful flowers, Stacey. Mine all got destroyed by the chickens this summer. Love the tin the flowers are in. Too bad spices come in plastic now. I agree...life is so busy, but we all must take time to "smell the roses (flowers)" Thanks for sharing the beauty.

What beautiful flowers, Stacey! Mine have all just about bit the dirt. I did put out some mums in pots and I hope they do well for me. I've never had much luck with them. Sorry I've missed your most recent posts...not sure why!

Yes Stacey. Mine leaked too. I ended up putting a sandwich baggie inside tin and filled it up with water. Then I cut the excess baggie and added flowers. This was after I tried other alternatives to stopped tin from leaking!!! Thank you for stopping by!

Fall abounds at my home, but I am still loving my late blooms. Yours are so cute in the pepper can. I love your Hyacinth Bean flowers! I have had scarlet runner beans that flower orange, but nothing as gorgeous as that. Would love to be on the list to receive some if you have enough! Thank you my friend and thanks for sharing your lovelies with SYC.

Came back to tell you not to feel bad about not wanting the blue transferware from your grands, as hubby did the same thing! He didn't want the blue willow that he and another brother were getting from their grands, (he didn't like them!) The Grands had a huge stock for 24 place settings, lol! That's life, how stupid we are when we're Young. My daughters don't want some things I want to give them, I know they'll be sorry some day! Thanks for your sweet visit.
