I love to hang plates. I need a lot more so I can do something fun like that.

Hi Stacey! I've always decorated my kitchen with plates. I have some in my dining room, too! I love how these are clustered together. A great way to get creative! Have a nice weekend! Twyla

The mix and match approach looks very fresh!

I like the mix and match approach too, although haven't seen it very often. I don't have a plate wall yet, might have to give it more thought because I do have a lot of them that I could display.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Go for it! I wish I had the space for some plates. I would be torn between just neutrals and colorful mismatched. Okay, maybe I'd have two plate walls! ;-D

I have loved plates forever...and I love them on the wall. I think the new random arrangements are so interesting. I want to do one in my living room...hopefully soon!

I love to hang plates on the wall too! I've never mixed and matched as these you've shown, but hey, go for it! :)
Thanks for popping in to see me and I'm so enjoying seeing your new home.

I have always hung plates on walls. Love mixing them up too. I think I had plates in every room when we had our house.

Charming photos - like books, plates are a relatively inexpensive but impactful decorating element. Love the mix & match of both photos and that portable bar - great idea! -- Jan

I always love them when I see them in someone else's home, and especially blogs, but I'm not sure I could carry it off, so I probably won't attempt it. Are you thinking about doing it in your home? Have a great day!

I have always liked that look. I am amazed at all the different patterns and designs that I see with plates. I hope you do one. I would love to see it.

I love plate walls... I think they add color and interest to walls. What I don't like about them is that I would see a pretty plate and want to use it for a party or even a regular old weekday meal. That is the ONLY REASON I don't have one! I wish they made something where you could change them out easily so you could still use them.

You've given me a great idea for a Pinterest board. I might start one! I was some GORGEOUS plate walls in Geradine James' Creative Walls book!

LOVE this post!

I love plates in the cupboards and on the walls. I still have some in plae racks and I know that the racks have gone out of style. I do like the look of them just on the wall.
