Our Delightful Dining Room Reveal

I'm calling this room complete. :)

If you've been with me, you know that a few weeks back I realized this dining room
was woefully undecorated and didn't reflect my style very much at all.

With ideas and pictures provided by my blogging friends, this room has been transformed.

Check it out!

Once the ideas were formulated this was a piece of cake.

I bought a few pieces of white dishes and could quickly tell that it would get too cluttery for me very fast.

So I waited for the curtains to arrive...and worked with items I already had.

The white tray was already here but it was green and floral before.
I just painted it.

Do you worry about white, off-white, or cream in a room?
I decided not to worry so we have white and cream.
I think it works well with the reds.

The curtain panels are from Country Curtains and they are perfect!

See my pretty parsons style chairs?

They are my first ever Craig's List purchase.
2 chairs for $110!! They are like new.

I had the sconces and all the transferware already.

Seriously, I stand at the doorway and stare.

I Love This Room!

Thank you so much to all my friends who gave me great ideas.

 and

I am forever indebted to you!

LOVE the checked curtains with the toile! I wish Country Curtains made them longer. I need 105 inch ones...so instead I am looking for checked fabric to sew some for my guest room.

Your dining room looks like a wonderful place to have dinner with family or friends and spend the evening relaxing and having a warm wonderful time.

I love your red dishes and of course, your red checked curtains.

I am making new pillows for my white sofa. The fabric I love the most is more of a cream background than white. But, I LOVE the print so I decided to go with it. I have finally come to the point in my life where I don't care - it's my house and I will do what I want with it.

I am doing a slow crawl back through your blog. I'm not sure which party I came across you at, but seeing the dump truck in the photo really intrigued me.

I absolutely LOVE your dining room, those check curtains and toile, two of my favorite things! You did a beautiful job putting the room together. I moved from Texas a few years ago, the homes are so pretty there.

hello,

I love your dining room and I especially LOVE your bunny lamp! Please tell me where you got it? Any time of year you will bunnies around our house and in the summer they gather around our backyard. The reason is my last name means "Hare" in Polish. The funny part is when I first met my husband I used to call him "my funny bunny" (I know, we were young and in love). Little did I know what his last name was in Polish! Now just not any bunny can be at home in our house, they have to be cute! And your bunny lamp is very cute! LOL

Sincerely,

MaryJean
