Hello Beautiful!

Now this makes it feel like home to me!

Digging in the dirt.

Transforming what the builders did.

This is my idea of fun.

:)

My old blog friends know how much I love gardening.

You can see some old gardening posts here.

The stinky smell of this dirt just makes me giddy!

Compost...manure....organic material.

I love it!

Here's what it looked like in the front of the house when we moved in 9 months ago.

Let's see how we can transform this over the next few months. :)

Do you like to work in the yard?

There are so many benefits...

Dose of sunshine and vitamin D
Creating something beautiful
Learning new things
Meeting neighbors while you are out working
Exercise
The list goes on and on...

I am with you in enjoying the great outdoors, although after seeing years of your gardening pictures, I wish I could spend the next few years being mentored by you. I cannot wait to see what you do with that already beautiful place.

Yes! I love working in the yard. I am waiting very impatiently to begin work at our new home. It was sitting empty for two years and the gardens were so over grown. I love the smell of dirt too. Looking forward to seeing what you do.

I don't do as much in the yard as I did 5 years ago, but I do like planting flowers for summer in the front flower bed. We moved in this house 9 years ago & the back yard still doesn't have anything but grass. I know, shame on us!

I love to work out in my garden weeding, planting, trimming, etc. I hate the time when daylight savings time ends until mid February because I leave early in the morning for work and don't get home until it is dark. I can't spend any time gardening during the week and the rain, cold, wind, etc. keep me from it on the weekend.

But, it is spring, I have time in the morning and after work to "poof" my garden, spring break will provide me 11 days of gardening time, and school is almost out.

At least during the summer, my garden is wonderful.

Have fun with your dirt.

I feel your joy, Stacey, and I am definitely the same way! I love to garden! Of course, it's been way too cold here to get out and do anything! Hoping for warmer weather soon! :)

I can't wait to see what you're going to do! I love gardening. I just did a post about my backyard garden. I also did a post about weed control. :) Exciting stuff! I can't wait until things really start to green up and everything starts to bloom.

So happy you can plant now! We have several more weeks to wait! That is gorgeous dirt! You know gardeners when they describe dirt as gorgeous!! LOL
You are probably in a different zone too which should extend your growing cycle! Happy Easter and planting!
Can't wait to see what you create!

Can't wait to watch the transformation. I know it's going to be beautiful!

I can't wait to start "diggin' in the dirt," but I'm waiting for warmer weather to arrive for good here in Vicksburg. One day it's almost 80 degrees and the next, it doesn't get over 50. I just hope the below-freezing mornings don't bite back the azaleas and dogwoods.

Happy digging and planting. I'll look forward to seeing your plans all come to life.

I used to love to work in the yard, but the older I get the less I love it. I just need to hire someone to do all the heavy lifting and then I could spend all my time doing the fun stuff.

You have a beautiful house! I enjoy working in the yard too, but not heavy lifting. I pay the price later which is not fun. LOL! Can't wait to see what you do with your front yard.

I do like gardening, if I feel like I want to and don't HAVE to. Sometimes I buy too much to plant after being bedazzled by all of the color at the garden store. haha

I hope you'll come back to the Farmhouse Porch and link this up at my linky party this Tuesday! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment♥

What a beautiful house Stacey! And the landscaping looks gorgeous! I love working outside too, but tend to go in fits and starts. Must be due to my fickle nature. Some years I can't spend enough time outside, other times (like last year) I let the weeds take over. :( Hopefully not this year.
