Y'all Just Amaze Me

Last week I asked for input from you about our dining room.

You can see it in its current state here.

I have to say THANK YOU!

You all have given me such wonderful ideas.  You've sent me opinions, links, and amazing pictures.

Look at these and be amazed.

The picture below was sent to me by Lisa at Fern Creek Cottage .

She said she just whipped this out while her kids were watching a movie.

I'm in awe.

This plan was sent to me by Andrea at Opulent Cottage.

Andrea said she had it in her mind and had to just had to get it down on paper.

Isn't it perfect?

In emails you all mentioned painting chairs, embellishing the white curtains
that are currently hanging, chair rails, and rugs.

The room will be some combination of all of the ideas.

It will be pretty darn close to these pictures, I'm sure!

I'm hoping to have it all by the time Bunco is held here in April.

Let me just say that your kindness blows me away.

Blog friends are so sweet!

Hi Stacey,
Just took a little peak at your dining room. I think either of these two ideas would translate beautifully in the space. It is always so much fun to redo a room...giving new life and making it feel like a brand new space. Have fun working on it. Hope you share some "after" pics. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit and for your sweet comment. Hope you visit again soon. Have a wonderful new week.

Hugs and Kisses,
❤Ana

What cute mood boards!! How lucky that readers whipped them up for you!
My personal favorite is the first one by Lisa, but I like the other one, too.

One thought I had is to paint your hutch gray...like the gray I used on my built-in in my living room. It is Benjamin Moore Sandy Hook gray. It appears gray/green but reads pure gray on furniture.

And, despite my total infatuation with gingham fabric, I think I like Lisa's fabric the best -- weird, huh?!

But, honestly, you can't go wrong. You have to do what speaks to you and fill the room with things you love.

You asked about my dining chairs...it is the checkmate fabric. It's the mid-sized check. Buffalo check is Calico Corner's large size and I think they call the small check gingham. Fyi...the "white" in the red check is not a pure white, it's more cream.

Can't wait to see how this all turns out. It's going to be cute no matter what you do!

I love these ideas- very classy and with warm, rich colors! Best of luck with making a decision!

Wow, I want to make one of those design boards now! I love both looks and the really aren't all that different, but I love the grain cloth and curtains in Lisa's.
