Absolutely Beautiful!

Hello Blogging Buddies!

Months have passed since posting and the school year is flying by.  We have passed the half way mark. :)  Thanks to those of you who've sent me messages over the months.  You are so sweet and I'm just too busy to blog much.

We've done a little project over the months with help from my wonderful dad and Sonya of Beyond the Screen Door.   Our hall bath had the original wallpaper that was put in when we built this house 11 years ago. I always loved it but it was just time to refresh the room.

Dad textured and painted the walls.  We had a granite counter top installed with a new sink. And all of the hardware has been replaced.  Of course, the decor is the fun part and that's where Sonya came in to help.

My part started with the floral fabric which was an actual shower curtain I purchased at Dillards.  When I put it up we didn't like the size...it was just too small.  Sonya took that shower curtain and added her special magic to it.

It was so much fun!  I handed it over and said, "Do your thing."

Sonya completely surprised me with burlap, a couple of florals, and black and cream check.  The curtain rings are painted and sewn on.  She recovered my old lampshade too.  Isn't it cute?

(Yes I do know I'm the worst photographer ever.)
The bathroom isn't completely decorated and probably won't be until school's out for summer. We do love going in there now though.  It's so much fun to do a little updating here and there.

Thank you so much to my dad and to Sonya for all of your help.

Please go by and visit Beyond the Screen Door. Prepare to be amazed!

Hi Stacey,
This all looks so pretty. How have you been? I hope to see you blog again soon. It seems so many of my favorite bloggers have stopped or are on a long break. I understand since I feel like stopping often.

Our bedroom set is about four years old and is from Haverty's. We love it! Thank you for the kind visit.

Happy week!
