Indulging on Saturday

Come to me my little pretties!

A Saturday trip to Lowe's.

Time digging in the dirt.

A short little nap.

(You know the kind where you die in the chair and your mouth hangs open.)

Maybe I'll bake some brownies later.

It's a nice day.

How's yours going?

Sounds like a perfect Saturday...we are huddled inside, it's snowing! ;D

Very pretty flowers Stacey. I still have not stopped by Lowes. I need ferns and now some new trees. A few of them did not make it through the winter.

Yum...brownies. :)

You just described my nap!
How did you know my mouth was hanging open? Now I need a brownie-

White Spray Paint

I love the name of the petunias you bought.

I remember how gorgeous your yard always is...I'm a bit jealous. I am slowly getting the use/strength of my arm back, after my shoulder surgery but there won't be a whole lot of gardening for me. This is the first year we are looking to hire someone to help us, as hubby just hadn't had the time. He doesn't really enjoy flower gardening anyway.
I look forward to seeing yours!!

Oh what a nice selection of pretties!! I love the dark purple potatoe vine! That creeping pholox looks pretty too. I've just started planting too...hopefully the wind will die down soon. Enjoy your garden and all this warm weather!

Sounds like a perfect Saturday, much of the way I spent mine!

Hi Stacey
I spent my Saturday at the same place ~ and it was crazy busy!
Thanks for stopping by today!

This is an ambitious day! I have to stay in and play catch-up. We were gone to the furniture market last week. I have plans drawn up for the front landscaping, but no contractor! I don't understand why they never show up- and they say there's a recession? LOL I have money to spend and no one to give it to....
Enjoy your day, Stacey! hugs, Sue

I am so thankful that you are back in your element. Gardening takes on a whole new dimension every time I have visited your lawn and gardens in the past, and I so look forward to it all again. Thanks too for the chuckle too.

Well, hello, pretty Stacey..
It sounds like things are going well for you. WONDERFUL.

I am just dying to do some container gardening this year but must wait awhile still gets pretty cool here at night.

Bet those brownies were good...:))

Wsprsweetly Of Cottages said... funny, Stacey! I did the same thing, EXACTLY! I went out and planted some burgandy pansies and then dozed off in my rocker..I do remember taking my glasses off..and that was it! I was mouthed...and probably snoring!
GOOD job, Stacy!

I'm glad you like the sofa table. Thanks for your sweet comment!

Ha! We just went to Menard's yesterday and bought several plants too. It must have been the weekend to do it. Menard's just opened up and they're having their big grand opening sales. Gallon-sized coral bells 3/$9.99. We got 6, and a pussy willow, heleborus and creeping jenny. Fun fun!
