Playing House and Teacher - Rambling

I have always loved to play house.

This has been such a nice relaxing weekend.  No school tomorrow.

Why do the weekends feel so much more relaxed when you have Monday off?

There's a roast in the oven that smells heavenly.

A fresh pitcher of iced tea.

And my sweet hubby is snoozing on the couch.

We went to Barnes and Noble today and I saw this:

Tuesday I will go back to work and play teacher.  My other favorite thing to do.

I am planning to recreate this saying on the wall in my classroom.

The kids might not fully understand but it will make me smile.

They really are lots of sunshine to me.

It's great to have a day off now and then and have time to do things that you want to do! I know you enjoy teaching, too and give so much of yourself! I love teachers! ♥

That is a great quote and it's a great idea to put it up in your school room to brighten up your days. Your kids will remember it later too I'll bet. Sounds like you had a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm checking out your blog and it's great! I see you collect red transferware. I collect blue and white and I'm a former teacher. It's fun finding new friends online who love the same things! Have a great day!

Love that quote. Makes me think of my grandkids. In this foggy weather they are my sunshine.
Love that red and white pitcher. Great for Valentine's Day. Glad you had an extra day to enjoy your home. Couple of extra days coming up in February too.
A teacher who loves what she does is what I always wish for my grandkids.
