Summer Fun in The Great State of Texas

We took a quick trip to the beach.

Perfect company.

Fun times.

Wet and cool.

Sweetest sister in law in the world and cousin Jill.
We had supper at Willie Gs that night.

Of course, my family indulged me with some drive by time.

Our trip included Gaido's and Moody Gardens.
Can you guess where we went?

It was nice of you to share bits and pieces of your vacation at the beach. Your pictures are so good. I especially like the one of you and your husband. You look so happy. Great photography!

Are Avocados on the menu in Galveston, also? :)

Nice - a family vacation! Before our older son started his first year in college we took a family vaca to CA. So fun to do! Wonderful memory for all of us.

Nice play list!

I'm guessing Galveston....pretty certain but of course I could be wrong. We've gone there a few times with the kids. It's fun! Last time we went we got a great house at the end of the island, on the beach. It was four or five stories and the top was a room with a hot tub and all glass windows with wonderful ocean views. It was such fun!

I didn't have to guess, but how fun that you got a trip to the beach! Loved seeing you and your family!
Take care.

I have no idea! This doesn't look like our beaches on the Atlantic with that tower in the background, but the houses could be our way! I'm stumped! Looks like you had a good time with your inlaws, thanks for sharing!

Isn't it nice to get away for a while? Looks like you had a great time at the beach. I'm still finding little piles of sand everywhere as the kids unpack toys and things.

Awww! Galveston is just a hop, skip, and a jump down from Casa St. Michael! But, alas, I am up in OH visiting the other "sweetest sister-in-law in the world!" Enjoy God's Country!

I'm not familiar enough with Texas to recognize where you were, but it looked like a beautiful beach. You all looked like you were having fun. You can't beat the beach for a summer getaway.
We spent summer in San Antonio in 1972, and I spent my early years in Marshall. No beach at eithe, but San Antonio has a river running through it. I understand the Riverwalk is really nice now.

There's nothing like a family vacation especially as the kids get older and we're not quite sure how much longer they will be able to come.
It looks like you had a wonderful time and the photos are all beautiful. You make a very nice looking family.
