Singing!!

Proud Parent Alert:
We will be packing up our younger son to go to Chicago in the Fall.

He has auditioned and been accepted as a Classical Performance/Music Education student.

Where do kids get the nerve to move from Oklahoma to Chicago?

We are very proud but sure will miss hearing all the singing he does around here.

More to come about this subject later. :)

Again, I'm happy for him and I know he's so very excited.

Congratulations!

I am struggling with the probability of one son moving 45 minutes away. Bless your heart for the support you are offering this talented boy of yours.

That's wonderful! Congratulations to you all. I hope one of my kids is musical. We're doing piano lessons for both and one plays the trombone. My 3rd grader just got choosen to be one of the 6 participants for her schools Music Memory Team. So that's exciting! I'm so glad we get a second chance to live through our children ;)

Congratulations to your talented son! With modern transportation, remember that he's not THAT far away. It will give you a good reason to visit the windy city.

I'm sure you will miss him while he is away, but Chicago is such a fun city to visit.
Could he make you a CD of his singing for you to listen to?
