Hibernating

Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on me!!

Hi girls! Sorry to be gone from the blogging scene. The sun has kind of disappeared here and my brain has stopped working. I've been tutoring, napping, eating, sleeping, reading, eating, sleeping, reading, eating, sleeping, reading...you get the picture. Spring really needs to come quickly!
We've also been doing college visits for several weekends in a row. Some kids are interested in one college. My son applied to 8! The decision should be made soon.

Several people have asked about my dining room project. Well it is not moving along very well. I painted and then couldn't move past that point. Watch for pictures tomorrow or Tuesday so you can advise me.

Now you have to see this! Dawn at Cottage State of Mind made this adorable button to remind us to exercise and be healthy before blogging. I love it!

Hi Stacey,

I have missed your posts but I definitely understand the reading, napping, sleeping thing. I have been doing a lot of that too. Hope your Son decides on a college soon. Sounds like you are going to get more snow. Not sure if we are here or not. As always, we will just wait and see.......

Mr. Sun did put in an appearance on Thursday and Friday...but then Saturday and today were just wet, cold, and dreary. Oh Spring, come soon...we need the warmth.

Have a great week.

Hi Stacey,

Yes I have missed you and your daily posts! I figured you were busy with the dining room project, college visits and tutoring and that's a full schedule! I am so ready for spring! Can't wait to start hitting the nurseries...like TLC and Under the Sun. No sunlight just drains my energy cells! LOL..Glad you finally came out of hibernation!

You were missed! I am soooo anxious for Spring too. Today the sun was shining making me think Spring is right around the corner. I like the jog before you blog button.

That was quick! Thanks for sharing the button. A friend of my husband had to have bypass surgery yesterday and they had to work on all 6 valves and his aorta! I didn't even know there were that many. He is about 50 and looks to be in good health so it was a shock to everyone. I decided I had to make a change. I did 5 minutes on the treadmill before I started visiting tonight. Yes, just 5 but it's a start.

Hope you're enjoying working at the school. Hugs,
Dawn

I know just want you mean. I live in "Sunny" Ca. and haven't seen the sun in a while. Hubby and I weeded our front yard between rain showers yestrday. Hope you and your son can narrow down your search soon. He must be a good student to have so many choices.
You must be so proud.
Like the button, but for me it would have to be walk(although doesn't rythme). Hoping for sunny days soon.

Oh Girl,
I hear you! We are supposed to get another snowy blast on Tuesday. Of course that means I'll have to bake some cookies to prepare for it. At this rate, they will have to get me out of my house with a crane!!!

You have been missed out here in blogland, Stacey. It sounds like you have been busy. It does seem like spring is taking it's time this year. I am sooo ready for it.

I give your son credit for looking into his options on the college front.

That button is so cute and so true. If I keep sitting here at this computer I am going to spread out more than I already have. I have been making myself go upstairs and use the treadmill and do some weights. I want to drop some pounds this year and then I go and start a blog!!

good idea. does the button come with a boot, if you get my drift, because it need more than a button! lol.
