Cath Kidston Love

I recently started receiving this Cath Kidston magazine/catalog in the mail. Everything in it is just adorable. I love the pinks, greens, and blues. The colors and styles are fresh but old fashioned.

There's a problem. The items are priced in pounds.

One day I decided to get brave and try to order something. It didn't recognize my zip code and wouldn't let me proceed.

Now they wouldn't mail me this just to tease me, would they?

Don't you agree that it's all sweet? Look at those flowers and polka dots!! Does anybody know where to buy Cath Kidston in the US?

By the way, so many of you asked about our trip to Chicago that was supposed to happen yesterday. We were snowed out. We are regrouping now and trying to decide what to do. Thanks for asking.

Everything from the magazine looks like something many people would want...I am like you, strange you get the magazine but can not order from it.

Stay dry.

Hi Stacey,

I just went to their website. It looks like they are in the UK and Japan, but ship all over the world. There is pricing for that. If you are having a problem with the web page, you can call a customer service person. Check out this page for details:

I agree that her things are fresh and beautiful!

Stacey, I am in London right now and am going to Covent Garden tomorrow how funny, let me know what patterns you like best and I will bring you some bits. I love CK, her china is very delicate though and have already chipped a few pieces but the fabrics and bags are gorgeous, like you say old fashioned but fresh and modern at the same time. hugs, Kathy.

Cute catalog. I would love to browse through it. We are snowed in here too in NC. 8 inches so far and now it is sleeting, blowing and COLD. Indoor, soup kind of weekend here.

What a warm and cozy catalog. Upon occasion I've seen coffee mugs with that same polka dot style at TJ Maxx.

That looks like a really neat catalog. Maybe it is telling you, you don't NEED to order anything just look at the eye candy....lol.

I went to their site a while back and signed up to receive a catalog but I haven't gotten one yet. Though I haven't checked the mail in a couple of days.

Stacey, I love CK, but I don't get the catalog, so I don't know about ordering from it. There is a site on the internet where you can put in the foreign amount and it will give you the U.S. amount, but I'm not sure how to find that site. Some of the catalog sites have a place where you can click to get the money exchange site. Sorry your trip was cancelled. That's been happening to a lot of people. Spring is just around the corner-thank goodness! laurie

Hey Stacey,
I got the CK catalog in the mail the other day, too! It is awesome. I want it all but I hear the shipping is outrageous. Lisa Luby ryan's shop in Dallas used to carry CK. I haven't been in awhile, so I don't know if she still carries it or not. If I find a retailer in Dallas I'll let you know.
PS So sorry about your trip being cancelled. :(

Cath Kidston is one of my favorite designers. I never ordered from her website though for the same reason you didn't. I would be excited to learn from others some helpful ordering advice. Beautiful catalog pcitures.

I would love to get the CK catalog, how is everyone getting it suddenly?? I had a friend bring me back the British Country Living magazine and I had a problem with the prices being in pounds. My husband suggested I go to the bank and get a check in euro dollars. You can also call a major bank for the rate of exchange. I haven't tried it yet...

Sorry you missed out coming to Chicago. We are having pleasant but cold weather...

Hi there,
I think you would like the following blog www.posy.typepad.com as she is obsessed with CK! Lucky for her she lives in Devon, England. You can google currency converter and you will get a choice of sites to change your dollars into pounds.
I see our popular Irish chef Rachael Allen mentioned on the cover of the magazine in your picture!

Hi Stacey,
You left a sweet comment on my blog. I have just added myself as a follower of yours. I love Cath Kidston too. Such charming prints. I noticed that on your book shelf you have a copy of Kitty Bartholomew's book. Did you know that she put her Santa Monica house up for sale? It's a lovely house.

I'll stop by to visit you again. Come and visit me and Bentley too.

Love,
Susan and Bentley

Those colors are all so pretty! Very "cottagey"! That should brighten up your snow covered world.

LOVE her stuff! Why can't someone manufacture similar designs for over here? Her use of color is just amazing!

I LOVE Cath Kidson. I ordered that magazine just last week. Can't wait to get it. Guess I'll have to figure out what to do about the pound thing.
I have one of her books, but want more....

Hi Stacey! The first I heard of this sweetness was in the airport leaaving England! I walked in and fell in love with everything but our dollar is worth less in England and I would just average it out. The pound is almost double our dollar - not quite, but close!! Needless to say, I didn't buy anything.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I've been seeing a lot of CK around the blogs. It is great stuff. I'm surprised they arent marketing here. Maybey they think the economy is too bad. They don't know us bloggers do they? We go without heat or food for cute knick knacks!
Hugs,
Dawn

There is a Cath Kidston retail store in SOHO in NYC. Seems to me there are others. I love going to Barnes & Noble and looking at the articles AND the ads in British Country Living magazine.
