Happy December 1st

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm a little lax posting because we've been very busy. I won't lie and tell you that we are all decorated. What you see here is what we've done. :) That's ok...it will happen and we will enjoy the month.

Tonight's the night for us. We are putting the tree up and having a big bowl of hot soup. Guess what's for dessert...some of this fabulous hot chocolate that I won from Cathy at Mille Fleur. This is the best and most fattening hot chocolate ever! Worth it though.

Thank you very much Cathy for such a generous give away prize.

Doesn't it look yummy? I'll share. :)

Mmmmm...Yummy Hot Cocoa. Love the mugs they are in too. One Christmas I decorated my kitchen in gingerbread men. Is it December already?? We decorated out side on Sunday afternoon. A little understated this year, but festive.
I'm just getting my fall put away and making a clean slate to start tommorrow. The tree is up, but not decorted. Have fun decorating yours. Isn't soup just the best this time of year?

Stacey, That hot cocoa does look good! Congrats on your win from Cathy. I think so many of us are taking it slow getting ready for the holidays. I am so far behind, I may never get done. Those baby steps of mine are now down to a crawl- I think I'm regressing in my recovery! If I don't move, look up or down, I'm just fine. So that kinda leaves staying in bed all day! aaagggghhh...
hugs, Sue

Isn't it sad that this month just gets so pressure packed that we sometimes don't even enjoy doing what needs to be done. I am slowing down this month....yes I truly am. Have fun and yes the hot chocolate looks yummy. I can smell it from here.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

You and I have about the same amount done but tomorrow is my day to knock it out and get the tree up. It is one of those days I love where I don't have to leave the house for any reason

Gorgeous decor so far Stacey!

The hot chocolate looks so delish! The mugs really are beyond precious. I'm so glad you are enjoying it. I had won so many giveaways this past year I felt guilty and decided to pass it on to someone else. I'm glad it was you!

Hi Stacey...Thanks for visiting my friend...

I have the very dishes you show on this post. I bought them 15 plus years ago at Target and I've loved them ever since. My daughter is trying to winkle them out of me but it's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN anytime soon. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Blessings to you...loved seeing what you won...SWEET!

Love, Rebecca
