Hey Stacey, I'm in the same "boat" as you, literally, we missed all the heavy stuff last night, but it has poured all day here. Your apple cake looks so darn good and I can't wait to see what you've done with your laundry room. Mine is a mess. No photos please! I just signed up to be a follower. Have a great week and stay dry!

Apples (any way) and then ice cream - what a combination.

We had rain this morning...has been dry for about 5 hours - but looks like more on the way.

I think it is raining everywhere, Stacey. Today I had to out in it and I came home with a chill. All our firewood is wet so I can't even make a fire...

I love 15 bean soup. I have to remember to make some. Everyone seems to be hunkering down with the big one pot meals. I have a cookbook btw called 365 One Pot Meals. When the kids were small it was my bible. And it is still great.

Yhe one pic of your laundry room so shows how clean it is. Gosh, in an old, old house like mine it only feels clean after the ladies have been here, and then for only a few hours...lol!

Stay warm & dry, Stacey!!

We got the on again/off again rain. Just enough to make you feel like someone is sneezing on you. YUCK!

Loved the apple cake picture!

Do you know that at this point we haven't had any rain today. Did your temperatures get really cold? Our area is now included in the severe thunderstorm warning scrolling across the TV.

That bean soup sounds delicious and YUM, I will definitely check out the apple cake! I am cooking stew tomorrow since our high is only supposed to be in the 50's.

Can't wait to see that laundry room! (I have to look at other people's homes right now, because mine is such a disaster, with projects everywhere.) Everything you do is always so pretty - your wreath and flowers looked so nice, too! Hope to catch up more soon.
