Stacey...

So glad you stopped by today my friend. Yes...it's rainy and rather gloomy, huh? Want to know what is behind my positive outlook today?

On Saturday, while my hubbs and I were out Estate Sale Hunting we were traveling down I35 towards south OKC and the traffic was fairly mild. All of a sudden a full sized van stopped abruptly in front of us while moving along in the fast lane. Their brake lights were out and Steve didn't realize they were stopping until he had to break himself (I mean...who stops like that on the interstate anyway?). We came within two inches of slamming into the back of them at 50-60 plus MPH. The back of our SUV was full of things (a huge wooden cabinet, etc.) which no doubt would have flown foward had we hit the van. If slamming into the Van didn't kill us, being hit in the back of the head by such weight surely would have.

We were both shaking so hard and then we realized there were at least five other vehicles behind us that nearly slammed into us as well.

Then we were almost faint.

For the past three days I've been so grateful and thankful for God's protective hand. The outcome could have been terrible and the thought of leaving my children without parents was overwhelming.

So...today I'm trying to continue with my thankful spirit. That there is good in all things...even a day when the sun isn't shinning.

Love to you~

Rebecca
