Oh gosh, I was just reminded that Ceekay at Thinkin' of Home also has Ovarian Cancer. I'm sorry that slipped my mind! Ceekay is also going through chemo right now and needs to be remembered!
The month of September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. Now girls, this effects all of us! Take a minute to go to one of the many websites and read the signs and symptoms. Here's one I looked at ovariancancerawareness.org
So many of our blogging friends are fighting scary health concerns. We think of you all the time!

I am thankful that we have September Ovarian Cancer month...but personally, it isn't enough. We need women's cancers to be ALL more made aware of...and monies to all. Trust me, I know firsthand how horrible OC is....going through chemo again right now. We all need to keep awareness all year round for all the women's cancers. Big task I know...but we must do it!
Cancer is so horrible and I pray all the time for a cure.
I'm off to visit your friend! Cancer has touched my family too many times, so I always try to encourage anyone who is fighting the battle against that horrific disease.
You are so right. Everywhere I turn someone is battling serious health issues. Thank you for sharing this website and notice.
Thanks for the reminder. I will certainly keep Ashley in my prayers. Cancer is such a terrible disease.
Morning girl..great info and I pray they find a cure to once and for all end the 'C' word...I have lost so many of my loved ones and friends to that horrible 'word'....and I said 'word' because I know full well that just the mention of it from a doctor can get into one's spirit so strong that it nearly chokes all hope and faith from them before it actually takes it's toll...but I know God still moves in this day and time....thanks for coming by girl...hope you have a great week.

Sending prayers and thanks for the reminder about the awareness month.
I love Ashley...her positive attitude and strength inspire me. She is such a sweet woman with so much to share. I hope like crazy she beats it!
Thanks for the reminder about ovarian cancer Stacey. My gyno appointment is on the 8th. yippee...sorry. I just dread them since my favorite doctor moved to Texas a few years ago. She was so nice and her replacement is not.
I may look for a new doctor after this appointment.
Have a good one.
~Melissa :)
