Outdoor Wednesday

Welcome to another Outdoor Wednesday here in Edmond, Oklahoma.
I hate to rub it in but the weather here has just been breath taking.
We've been able to walk and garden as much as we want.
Let's tour the yard.
My favorite geraniums.
Saint Fiacre

You can read about him by clicking here.

Mossy ball.

Spiraea in bloom.

Lots of blooms on our oak leaf hydrangeas.

Thank you so much to Susan for hosting Outdoor Wednesday.

Go by and visit all of the other participants who love their yards too.

Stacey, thanks for the information on St. Fiacre. I wasn't familiar with him so I was interested to read that he was an Irish saint who went to France for his ministry.

Your flowers are lovely, and I'm glad you are having nice weather. We've had loads of rain, but at least our grass is looking very green! :-)

Happy Outdoor Wednesday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi Stacey,

It is about time that we are all having some good weather!! Well, it's not going that great here now~will be going down to 50 degrees at night for the next week. That is NOT good for the flowers!!

I have been seeing a lot of Oak Leaf Hydrangeas since I started blogging. Yours is just gorgeous, especially in that natural setting. But I had never seen one before until recently and I am wondering if they just don't grow in my climate...

Love your spiraea. They are good in shade. aren't they? Just love your yard, Stacey! Happy OW!! :-)

It's all pretty, but especially the hydrangea. I've never tried to grow one, but for years I enjoyed my neighbor's that was only about 10' from my back deck.

Your yard is beautiful! Oklahoma is beautiful in the spring. I know. I grew up in Ada.
As a matter of fact I know people in Edmond. Les and Rachel Hardy pop into my mind. He's a dental surgeon.

Hi Stacey!

Thanks so much for your visits and sweet messages. Your garden and your home are SO lovely! I'm glad that you are enjoying some nice weather!

So are we, but we've had that most exciting thundershower here this evening! I know it seems like everyone one else has been waiting for sunny weather in blogland!
But here a cool thunder shower is a welcome change from all the warm dryness we've had for so long!

Have a nice week! and it's so nice to chat with you!

Stacey, I am behind, but what is new...we are putting in a jet ski dock thingy for my jet ski and today we are headed to town near Dallas to pick it up and then Roy has help coming tomorrow to put it in the water, etc. So we are in for a few busy days. Will catch up with you later. Have a great weekend.

Stacey, your yard and flowers are so pretty, and I love the wooded area behind your hydrangeas. It's so cool looking. I love the mossy ball, too.

I came across another Saint Fiacre statue in garden earlier this week which I'm going to post about next week. I had never heard of him until then, and now I found him again in your lovely garden. Thank you for sharing his interesting story.

Sincerely,

Janie
