Monday Morning Blessings

Good Morning All!
Worked hard in my yard this weekend.
For the first time in two or three years I pruned the oak leaf hydrangeas.
They are covered in the most beautiful blooms this year. Brought them in to my little vase.
They smell wonderful!
I hope you have a great day!

Oak leaf hydrangea is my favorite shrub. I have one in a pot that my neighbor gave me. I need to figure out the best place to plant it. Love those blooms. Hope you have a great day today--we have a huge snake to deal with.

Love the hydrangea, any kind, any color. Our horticulturist just told us they need plenty of water.

Stacey, My mother has a large bush of these flowers and I wondered what they were. They look so nice in that vase, along with your signature red and white. I never thought to put them in a vase. Now I will. Hope you have a good week.

Oh Stacey...how gorgeous!!! I am in love with hydrangea and yours are so beautiful!!!

Do you think I could grow those here in north Texas? I am dying to have some in my yard. I love the white!!!

P.S. I noticed on your side bar that your son attends OSU. My son and I are HUGE OSU fans...I mean CRAZY HUGE!!! We have flags, stuffed animals, glasses and alot of other goodies that we put out for all the games. I think he is going to go there...he is only in 9th grade...so it is a little early...but I am really encouraging it!!! It is a little weird since no one in our family has ever gone there...but we love it!!!

Gorgeous blooms. The vase is perfect, it doesn't detract from the flowers. I have several varieties but not oakleaf. I must remedy that. My Annabelles are just beginning to bloom.

Your flowers look so pretty next to the lemons!

Hi Stacey,
It's been a busy spring here but I just had to stop by and say hello. I love your hydrangeas! I don't remember ever seeing Oak Leaf ones but I would love to have one! They are just beautiful and you displayed them very nicely!
Hope you have a great day too!

What a gorgeous bouquet. That reminds me, I'm going to cut a couple of our endless summer hydrangea blossoms, to bring indoors.

Stacey,

Wish my hydrangeas were blooming. Yours are beautiful. Maybe mine are "late bloomers".

Hi Stacey,

Oh - my goodness - your oak leaf hydrangea is beautiful and looks great a a cut flower. I have not been able to grow the oak leaf very well in my garden, however, it is my very favorite hydrangea.
Have fun working in your garden.
Blessings,
Erin

How beautiful. Love hydrangeas but do not have an Oak Leaf.

Your yard always looks so pretty and now your home is blessed with the fruits of your labor. I am going to start cutting some dahlias as soon as they fully open. Can't wait.

Have a fantastic day.

I wish I could keep the raccoons away from my fish. They decimate my little water feature and gobble them up.
I really like your old window. I have a few but never know where to put them.
