Metamorphosis Monday

Welcome to Met Monday hosted by the inspiring Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. Let's go outside. Now be careful...the wind has been gusting up to 50 miles per hour here in Edmond, Oklahoma. We are used to it though.

See this cute basket below? Found it at a shop here in Edmond. If you are ever around it's called Serendipity. Fun place!!

We made another stop Saturday at TLC Nursery. I could live there! I am in my planting happy place when we go there.

So we got some caladiums, potato vine, begonias, asparagus fern, and potting soil, of course. I really like mixed textures together.

Put them all together and we have this beautiful basket waiting to take off growing! I can't wait for the plants to reach up and grow out of there. I will show it to you later in the season.

Now where should I put it? There are so many possibilities!

Thank you for coming by. Be sure to visit all the other participants and leave some comment love.

I found your blog and I am so happy to have found someone from Edmond. My in-laws have lived there for years until recently moving back here to Lawrence, KS where their kids and grandkids live. We would go shopping for hours down the main strip of downtown Edmond, but my favorite places were Gatherings, in OK city and Lime Leopard. I also loved the Market, the huge store with all the vendors. Oh I wish to go back and shop! I guess I will just have to visit your site to get my fix! Thanks for sharing your beautiful basket!

Stacey,

It looks like summer at your home. I love the basket, what a great find!!! You really do have an eye for cute combinations.

Thanks for the comments. I feel a little overworked this last two weeks and the gardening has just started..... I better step up my game.

Blessings to you and your family, especially this week.

Just yesterday I was in Michaels, thinking, I wish I could create something for Easter, but don't really like the pastels. Now I see from your basket of goodies that I can have my red too! Thanks, Stacey!

Hi Stacey! Oooh I can't wait to see that pretty basket overflowin with those beautiful flowers. It's still too cold to plant flowers here in Jersey. I have a feeling we're going to go straight from Winter to Summer as often times happens here. Ughh!

Take care
