Good Things

I just came from the hairdresser....the wonderful person in my life who helps me deny the growth of those little pesky gray hairs. Her name is Melea and I've been going to her for years. She's so sweet and the time that I spend there is fun.

When I got home I was starving so I had lunch. I was thinking about some of the things that I just love on a daily basis but could live without if necessary. Have you ever thought about how much we really enjoy some of these things?

Hair color

Fritos

Coffee and Diet Coke

Chocolate cake

Blogging

Decorating magazines

Blue jeans

Flip flops (yes I saw them at Target)

This list could go on and on.

I could live without all of these. I'm so glad I don't have to though.
Have a great day!

Live without blogging? Perish the thought! LOL! I'm with ya on all of those things and could add a zillion more to the list. You could put together a blog party on that subject Stacey, wouldn't that be interesting to see what others would hate to give up!

Yes, you could put together a blog party. Sadly I had to give up Diet Coke; I really did like it at the time! Some of the others you listed are definites on my list, too...and your chocolate cake looks delicious!!!

Every visit that I have to your blog, I enjoy. Today I had to smile as I read what your wrote. I like your candidness and your honesty. Good reminder to stop and think about the things we truly do appreciate about everyday life. Thanks Stacey!

Well written...and I love the chocolate cake part...your making me hungry. Chocolate cake for breakfast, while not a healthy choice, still seems like a great choice!

Well, it's not like you're asking for a Trump tower! So go for it. The little gifts we give ourselves each day are so crucial in keeping our mood positive. We shouldn't wait for others to give us things. The gifts we give to ourselves are the best of all.

For me, finding a new hair stylist was the hardest thing about moving. I can't do without "your" things - they are all necessities. Well, except for the blue jeans! ;o)

Sure wish I had a big piece of that chocolate cake right now!!! We sure have a lot of things in common on that list...except for the Diet Coke...I'm more of a sweet tea kinda gal!

Hi Stacey,
Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comments. I think I will go back for more chocolate to go with the teachers Christmas gifts-great idea. What is CVS? Is it a store? I have heard that name but I don't know if there is one near here.
Warm regards,
Wendy

I agree with almost everything on your list and ummm... I am going to go now and have a diet coke and some chocolate cake, while blogging.

Thanks for your list. We should do this more often.
