Pillowy Perfection

Our living room poofing project has been completed.

A box arrived Saturday that contained the last of the pillows and the cutest throw made out of my fabrics. I want you to cast your eyes on the perfection here. Like Dot says, I was jumping up and down squealing!!

Look at the perfect ruffles! Look at the rosette with the covered button. :)

The flap on this pillow reverses to give a completely different look.

Loving this one too.

The pillows, drapes, and throw were all made my friend Mary Jo. She lives in Corpus Christi, TX and is willing to sew for you too! It was so easy..we talked on the phone a couple of times and I sent her one picture from the Southern Living website. That's all. Mary Jo is just so talented she took off with it and I couldn't be happier. I posted a link to her e-mail on my sidebar if you would like to contact her.

That turned out so nicely! I love it! You really know how to use color.

By the way....I deleted my "Boys Will B Boys" blog. The name of my blog was attracting some very bad web traffic from google, and I needed to protect my family's privacy.

So...I started a new blog called:
http://momcooksandreadsbooks.blogspot.com/ . It will mainly be about cooking, food, kitchen stuff, and books:-)

I will still be visiting your blog all the time....you are one of my favorite bloggers and you also have shared some great recipes:-)

Okay, first of all you are way to nice. Secondly, your blog has the perfect name too, especially given this post. Those pillows are GORGEOUS and go so beautifully in your room. I think the conference next year will still be in Nashville. If you had gone this time, I would have totally had someone to eat dinner with that night. Please come next year....

Hello Stacey! I just read your sweet comment on my rooms. Thank you very much! :) Now that I have been peeking at your home, I think you have LOVELY things! I don't think you need any more "stuff" but I kept wondering why your walls weren't painted (especially since your dining room is a luscious red!) but then I read that the living room walls are a creamy color but you can't tell - at least in the pictures. I know painting is a royal pain but have you considered just a warmer paint color? I know - me and my two cents .. But seriously I think you should take in one of those new gorgeous pillows to the paint store and match up that tan color in and paint your walls. I think it will make all your gorgeous fabrics, dishes, furniture & artwork just that much more beautiful. When we did our house, I fell in love with my fabrics first - and brought them all down to the paint store with me! That way I knew I would find a good compliment. And don't you dare take down that kitchen wallpaper!! Please show us the whole room! (or at least tell me how to find it already posted on your blog)and way to go Dad on restoring his amazing home! I'll be back again soon. ~ Laurie
