A Letter to a Friend

Dear Bright Yellow Wallpaper,

You have been perfect for 8 1/2 years now. I spent many hours deciding on you. You came from the perfect Tracy Porter book that I loved! Some people have thought that you were too bright.
I thought you were happy. You gave me the faux finish look that I so wanted but you were easy to wipe little handprints from.

Time flies and little handprints grow. Your edges are worn (like mine) and it's time to do a little fluffing. I do hope you understand.

Love,

The Mistress of Change

I am so glad I found your blog, you have been so gracious to leave such kind comments on mine. I love the yellow wallpaper, so I can understand why it is hard to see it go. Your moldings are just fabulous. I can't wait to see what you decide to do. Thanks for stopping by, I so appreciate it. Hugs, Marty

Hi Stacey,
I totally understand needing change. I must change things around a little every day. Your choice of wallpaper was really very nice. Your white molding reminds me of our other house. It is beautiful. I can't wait to see what you do with your wallpaper change! Amy :)

I am a fan of "before" and "after" pictures. I am looking forward to the "after" look that you choose. I am sure the yellow brightened many of your days.

Hi Stacey...Okie-dokie then...you have decided to let "it" go, huh? I'll be thinking of you while you work your fingers to the bone taking every little scrap down...or
perhaps you'll be lucky & it'll come down in sheets! ;-) Bo

Hello Stacey, It's lovely to meet you and thank you for your very sweet comment on my Valentines tablescape. I hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day, I am a big wallpaper fan and love your bright yellow paper here, I really love and envy your crown molding too, we don't have any in this house (it just seems so bare without it). I also love the colours you picked for your family room/kitchen, it's funny but my fave colours are Red and Blue but every kitchen we have ever had has been Green. Hope you have a wonderful week. Kathy.
