Prepare to be Inspired

Girls, grab your coffee! We are hanging out at my friend Cynthia's house for a little bit. First let me tell you that she is a first class decorator. The vignette above is from her kitchen. In a week or two when she gets her Christmas decorations up we are going to see what she does.

Remember me telling you about the Keeper's of the Home presentation the other night that we attended? Well, Cynthia got busy after that.

We have been to Tuesday Morning, TJ Maxx, Target, Hobby Lobby, the gourmet food store, etc. Cynthia put these cute gifts together for friends - all inspired by what we saw that night. Check them out!

See the popcorn boxes? They came from Target. At our store there is an end cap that has bowls, popcorn, and all kinds of popcorn treats. That's where you will find them. The boxes contain a glass special edition holiday bottle of Coke, popcorn, & candy. Isn't that adorable for a neighbor or teen ager? If you were giving this to a family, you could give one for each person. The tray belongs to Cynthia...she was very careful to help make sure the pictures were perfect. Each of these gift boxes equal about $2.00. Woo-hoo!!

This beautiful picture frame came from Target. I think she said it was $5.99 or so. She printed scripture on a pretty piece of paper. There you have it! Around here, specialty shops sell pretties like this for a fortune.

Basket full of kitchen goodies. Can you see the Fa La La towels? Salsa dish, adorable napkins, etc. Want to arm wrestle for this basket?

Are you still with me? Run and refill your coffee!!

This cute box came from Tuesday Morning. I think it was about $4.00. She filled this with Christmas napkins, hot chocolate, and Ghiardelli candy! It all came together with that cute red and white theme. Adorable and again very affordable.

Now this is the last one for today.

This pretty container also came from Tuesday Morning. It is filled with cookie mix, a cookie dough scoop, pretty napkins, and a vintage looking Santa ornament.

We've been having fun working on these things together. Now get your girlfriends and get busy...remember to share your ideas.

Have a wonderful day!!

I use to make up gift baskets for people at Xmas. I'd make soup mixes and candy and stitch up patchwork hearts and embroider them. I'd take a basket and wrap it all in plastic. I so enjoyed doing that. You know someone has put real thought into a gift then.
