If These Walls Could Talk

If this wall could talk it would say, "Please take away the hammer!" or "For heaven's sake, use the measuring tape before you make another hole!!"

This is the wall above my red couch - today. The four small pics came from art.com and I framed them at Hobby Lobby. Let me see if I can find those pictures for you to see...

Well, here's one. You get the idea. They are very pretty in person. As usual it drives me crazy because the wall appears to be white - it's not.

I have absolutely obsessed about the walls in this room. You have no idea how many times I've tracked down my hammer and nails. There are a bunch of holes I need to fix. It's going to stay this way...honestly!

morning girl....love those frames postcards! Girl you & you 'few' little nail holes can't hold a candle to mine! lol lol My daddy always tell me he could never lease a house to me with a 'NO NAIL HOLES CLAUS!!!!" lol lol I usually have stuff all over my walls and I love to rearrange all the time so that means moving the pics! I think my entire wall is made up of spackle now! Have a great day girl...only 9 days till Thanksgiving!

Morning, Stacey. I know what you mean about nail holes in a wall. You know, I actually think that's a woman's job to put nail holes in the wall!! :) I do love all it all looks and by seeing your draperies yesterday - oh, it all looks so lovely. I need drapes for my living room, but I need to recover a couple of chairs first. Does it ever end?
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I do love this arrangement above your couch. The letter prints are such a nice touch. Your room is really looking great with the drapes and everything. Twyla

I had to laugh about the nail holes...I learned a long time ago the way to "fix" them is just keeping hanging bigger & bigger pics over them... I really like the arrangement over your pretty red couch! ;-) Bo

Yes ma'am, you had me at the page header, then I loved the background, and as I'm scrolling down I see those darling draperies with the polka dots. I simply must go get a hot cup of tea and come back to check you out girl. I'll be back... Thanks for stopping by my blog!

First off, my walls would say the same thing....and I got a big chuckle out of that fact. Secondly, your wall looks tremendous. Keep up the good work and always remember spackling should be an Olympic Sport. HAHA!

I'm exactly the same way with a hammer & nails. I like to eye-ball things.
Your picture arrangement is beautiful.

Oh Stacey! I just love you and your decorating ideas! I actually clicked on the picture and enlarged it and could totally tell that the wall is not white. Just thought I'd let you know that. I also wrote down the website for the art you got. Love it!

I could just go on and on. Keep sharing friend!

So funny! I am laughing because I have walls in my house (entire rooms, in fact) that would say the same thing. "Please stop messing with me!"

I know what you mean! It is so hard to hang a grouping of things and keep it the same on each side. It looks good to me!

Cool idea, great pictures! I'm jealous, I have plaster walls- not easy to hammer anything into = )

Hahahaaaaa...I love this post. I have so many nail holes in my walls that I'm afraid sometimes it all might start leaking when it rains. I keep the spackling industry in business...and, when I run out, white toothpaste becomes my best friend!!
I did the book meme thingy today so come on over...
love, bj

My husband gets so mad at me for putting holes in the walls. I love to move things around, and I never measure first! You'd think I'd learn, but I fancy myself as having a good eye...

Good Morning Stacey, I love the red couch!! I am one of those people that can't stand to hang anything because of the nail holes..LOL I still have things I have never hung because of that..and we have lived here 4 yrs. I am getting better with that, thanks to all you wonderful bloggers...LOL Blessings, Nancy

these are so pretty - I love them!
I'm just the opposite - I don't have a lot on the walls because I have a fear of holes! :)
