The Aliens Have Landed

Did you know that aliens are supposed to land today? That's right October 14, 2008!! I heard it on the radio. Then I googled it so I could provide you with accurate sources to read. Let me tell you there are plenty. You google it - you'll see!

I think they have already landed in our yard. Can you see them?

Hope you are having a sense of humor along with me. I had plans to start revamping this flower bed today. However, it's dark and rainy - not my kind of day.

Truly dark and rainy days are not for me. The lack of sunshine just makes me want to sleep and be sad. I think I will turn all of the lights on, turn on some good music, get a Diet Dr. Pepper, and clean something!

Have a good day friends! :)

I like dark and rainy days because it gives me an excuse to put on a movie and curl up with the kids! In the winter, we go outside, play and freeze until we have red noses and then we come in, watch the old black and white Lassie, and drink hot chocolate. Oh yea, that's the life for me!

Thank you for your encouraging words about the series I'm doing. I know a lot of people are blogging about money right now, so I'm trying to be different, not say the same things as everyone else - you know, only spend what you have, cut back, etc.

I'm so glad to have "met" you! :)

Hi Stacey,
I'm with you on not liking cloudy, rainy days. I love Diet Dr. Pepper, especially during happy hour (2:00-4:00) at Sonic, 97 cents! Enjoy your day!

P.S. How 'bout those Cowboys?!!

The diet Dr. Peppers with some music will help a lot. That must be what I needed today. Jackie

I'm with you on days that are totally rainy. :) My drink would be Diet Coke, and I'd put on Michael Buble's "Everything". It's a really cheery song. Hope you are feeling better now!

Girl, I am with you on those rainy days! I'm okay till after Christmas, cause I can at least turn on the Christmas lights when it is dark and rainy outside...then after Christmas, it's a different story.

I just love a good gardening/landscaping project!! Are you just planning to tidy up, or do an overhaul in this space? I always want to curl up on the couch with a blanket on rainy days! Thanks for your great comments on my blog :)!

Blessings,
Stacey
